Soon after purchasing this 2009 Honda Civic new from a dealership in Indiana I realized that the IMA did not respond as intended. That dealership gave me no satisfaction. Then a dealership in Bay City Mi dealership in Indiana I realized that the IMA did not respond as intended. That dealership gave me no satisfaction. Then a dealership in Bay City Michigan charged us to have the car analyzed and they said nothing wrong with it and they did not correct the problem. I then met with George Donavan and his tech man at Germain Honda and they diagnosed the problem as a faulty IMA battery within 30 minutes. The unfortunate thing is that we drove the car 3 1/2 years with the faulty IMA battery. This was our second hybrid so we knew something was wrong. The car now drives great and gets much better mileage! More
