GREAT Customer Service I was very upset to have my car be held hostage overnight after an oil change because the Service Department's computers went down and they couldn't i I was very upset to have my car be held hostage overnight after an oil change because the Service Department's computers went down and they couldn't issue a receipt and sent an email to the General Manager about the situation when I arrived home. He responded immediately with an apology, and forwarded my email to the Service Department Manager. The Dept. Manager emailed and phoned to assure me this was not their usual mode of operation. He offered a free future oil change and refund. I was very pleased with their rapid and fair response, and would like to take this opportunity to thank both the General Manager and Service Department Manager for rectifying this situation. More
Repair on my Honda I had a problem with my brake light staying on. Lee knew exactly what the problem and had the repair done along with some cleanup of corrosion. I pulled into the deal at 12:30pm and I was out of there, repair done and cashier paid at 12:46pm. It just doesn't get any better than that. The part was $8 and labor $18. Outstanding. I won't take my Honda for service any but Germain. Lee treated me very well and made my day. I was prepared to be there waiting for an hour or more. But I was finished in 16 minutes. Outstanding. Great Expectations Realized I recently had an air conditioning problem and took the car to Germain. The cost was less that I had imagined it would be. Thank you, Rafael! I must also say that while l didn't need a new car that day, I will certainly return to see John when I do. Outstanding service at Germain Honda of Naples, Florida On March 24, 2014 I brought my 2013 Honda Accord to Germain Honda of Naples to have it examined for any possible damage or leaks. The previous Friday On March 24, 2014 I brought my 2013 Honda Accord to Germain Honda of Naples to have it examined for any possible damage or leaks. The previous Friday I had driven over a curb in a parking lot and the car had slammed down on the cement. I had been noticing water under the car. We were visiting Naples and were facing a 1,200 mile drive home in a week, so I had to be sure that the car was safe to drive and not leaking any fluids. Rafael Hernandez Jr. welcomed me, took the information, showed me to the waiting area, and in less than 30 minutes told me that everything was fine. I asked the cost, and he said it was free, a courtesy inspection. Then he offered to have my car washed for free. This is an example of the highest standards of care for Honda clients, and probably shows why American car makers keep loosing market share. I was in a vulnerable situation and could have been taken advantage of by a dealer looking to make a buck. Instead, I was honored as a loyal Honda customer by a dealer who knew I didn't live in his area and would probably never sell me a car. That is the kind of extraordinary care and service that will keep us as loyal Honda customers for the rest of our lives. Previously we had been GM customers, as my wife's brother was a GM employee for over 35 years. But family loyalty must take a second seat to this kind of care for customers. Please share this review with Honda of Hamilton, NJ, from whom we purchased the Accord. I am sure they would be glad to hear that their customer was so well treated by another Dealer. I stopped by Germain Honda this afternoon to see if someone could show me how to activate my iphone with bluetooth operation in my CRV. One of your salespeople, John McDonnell, spent some time with me explaining step by step the process. When he was finished, I was able to do the entire process by myself. This very helpful act meant a lot to me, especially when it seems that today so few salespeople take time for their customers. Believe me, I will return to Germain Honda because of John McDonnell. The second time it was right before closing time and they still took it in, even though it was almost 4:30 pm! While waiting had the pleasure of meeting John McDonnell too, who was also Super nice guy! i would definitely recommend Germain Honda of Naples to anyone. More
