Already having what I wanted in mind we went and took a 10-15 minute test drive, The car performed satisfactory to me and my daughter liked it so we bought it. After I had the car for a few days I noticed a few minor defects I had not seen the night I bought it but nothing that I feel would have changed my mind on purching the car. The salesman who worked with me over a period of 3 days made a world of difference. This is not as much an endorsement of the dealership as it is a commendation of Mr Aso Danso's adeptness at handling my r made a world of difference. I owned a Lexus that I needed to trade in or sell elsewhere in order to pay for another. First of all, Mr Danso made an offer for my vehicle and showed me on paper what, given the price of the vehicle I wanted to purchase, the breakdown would be. The first deal that I was offered was outside of my budget. I made a counter offer. Mr Danso went to his manager to see whether a better deal could be offered by the dealership. We went back and forth like this over a period of 3 days. I know the stereotypes about car salesmen and I don't consider myself gullible or naive. I had made it clear to Mr Danso that I did not have to buy the vehicle there and then. And I certainly could take my time to sell my vehicle on the open market. I was in no big hurry, I said. And I was sincere in stating so. I was not bluffing. Mr Danso must have believed me because from that point onward, I felt that he really made an effort to go the extra mile for me. His manager, obviously, wanted to play hardball, perhaps believing that it did not matter - to him, at least - whether I walked away or not. Mr Danso, on the other hand, was determined to make a sale. And realizing that I could and would walk away without any regrets, he turned on the full force of his persuasive powers not only on me but also on his manager. He explained pricing to me, financing options, the meaning of Certification, and that the “Certified” status was removable. He worked out mathematically on paper how different scenarios would work out, he stated the case for my buying from the dealership rather than elsewhere, he coaxed, cajoled, made concessions and came back again and again with compromises. By Friday night, we had no deal. His manager would not budge. The manager felt that he'd made the best offer that he could on a very fine, loaded SUV. On Saturday morning, I replayed some of the arguments that Mr Danso had made in my mind. They made sense. They rang true. We were close. A mutually beneficial deal was in danger of being scuttled by a mere $500. Mr Danso called later in the morning and said that he shared the same sentiments. I told him that I would give him another chance or walk if he could not get his manager to budge. Then I waited. Sure enough, Mr Danso went to his manager and made the case that if the dealership and I could split the difference, both parties would walk away with what each wanted. His manager relented. While I would spend $250 more than I had intended, I really felt that I owed it to this young man, to see to it that his hard work had paid off. So I relented too. I'm now the happy owner of the SUV. And the dealership made money on the deal. I hope that they recognize the extraordinary lengths that Mr Aso Danso went to, just to keep a potential customer from walking away and to make the customer happy. More
I have purchased 7 new vehicles and 4 used vehicles over the last 21 years and I have never experienced customer service like I did last night. (in a positive way!) Buying a vehicle is rarely an enjoyable experience for me and until last night, I have never felt compelled to recommend a dealership or a sales person to my friends, family or anyone else who will listen. I came from out of town to purchase my pre-owned Lexus IS 250 and could not have been any happier with my experience at Germain Lexus of Easton. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly there. My salesman, Aso Danso, went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and meet all of my needs. I was so happy with the price of the car, the condition of the car, and the service I received before I even got there that I drove almost 6 hours to purchase my car there. They did not hassle me or try to talk me into doing anything I did not want to do. The financial guy was very helpful and straightforward and made the process extremely painless. They also met my financial rate that I had been approved for and even extended my warranty for no extra cost! If I lived closer to the dealership I would never buy a car from any other dealership, but even though they are so far away from me I would definitely consider driving back there to purchase another car in the future. Just having the peace of mind, that I was going to get a quality car with a warranty to back it up, made me pull in to the Lexus dealership. I was not looking forward to going through the used car purchase process, almost dreading it….then came Erika Lee an extremely nice and friendly fantastic individual!! She made my experience an extremely positive one, I was shocked how easy the process was, how friendly everyone was, and how great the whole over all experience was. She used a live pricing tool online to show me I was getting a fair and competitive price for my Lexus. She took the time to show me all the features on the car, and how to use everything, and took me over to the service department, it was just over and above than anything I was expecting. I now have a new outlook on the car buying experience. I would highly recommend Erika Lee and Ted Santagata at Germain Lexus of Easton!!! I know this will be the first place I go next time I am in the market for another vehicle. More
I purchased a preowned vehicle late in the evening from Preston. He was very welcoming and friendly. He walked me through the Germain process demonstrating the live pricing view of similar vehicles. I had done some research on my own and found their pricing to be very competitive. My only disappoinment the prevents me from rating all 5's was the company policy that only allows Lexus, Mercedes, and Cadillac to use their free car wash. A preowned BMW purchased from Germain should be permitted to use their car wash. If this policy changes, I'd revise my review. More

I spent multiply weekends driving around, testing driving new and used vehicles, and meeting with various car dealers and finally I found what I was looking for. Not only did I find the perfect new 'pre-owned' car for me, but I also had the opportunity to work with some fantastic individuals that went above and beyond what any one else had ever offered in terms of helping me with my new purchase. If I could recommend anyone in particular to work with (in other words if I had to do it again tomorrow) I would make sure I talked with Erika Lee and Ted Santagata first. Erika took me out for a test drive showing me all the great features, answered my questions, and was patient with me when it came to me almost getting cold feet. I loved the friendly, non-pressured environment and found it hard to leave when it came time to finally drive my new purchase off the lot... actually I had to come back later and made sure to thank Erika again for all her help. I didn't know you could have so much fun purchasing a vehicle. And weeks later after my purchase Erika took the time to call me to make sure I was enjoying the new ride. I am enjoying my ride and I hope in another 8 years when I find it time to purchase another vehicle I am as lucky to work with such an amazing group of individuals as I was this time. I have known Milt Erb, Director of Service, professionally for several years. The service when I take my Lexus in is superb. The staff is very professional and friendly and they make you feel very welcome as soon as you walk in. They gave me a new rental to drive (at no charge) while mine wass being serviced. Their waiting area is exceptional with snacks, coffee, water and a big screen TV to enjoy while you wait. The technician calls me when my car is ready for pick up. When I arrive to pick it up, the technician greets me and discusses what services were performed on my vehicle and sometimes has recommendations on future service that may be needed and the cost involved. They always ask if you have any questions or concerns regarding the service. The car is washed and cleaned on the inside. I would highly recommend Germain at Easton for service to anyone.
