Worst Experiance of my Life with GERMAIN TOYOTA He was the nastiest, condescending, belittling and arrogant person. He is now in Financing for Germain Toyota of Naples. We have a deal on paper for one thing and when we sit to close the deal. All the numbers change, Mind you nothing on our side has changed with our credit only thing that changed was that we wanted to put more more down. He pounced like a vulture on his prey. With no respect or explanation just said " The numbers changed and thats what the new numbers are if you like it great or give me a check for all of the car. He knows that we had the cash to buy it outright so he pulled the Great Dealer Move. Of bumping the numbers as he pleased thinking we were dum, Since the person he was trying to do this to was a old lady over 80... I would NEVER recommend or GERMAIN TOYOTA... They are predators that play the ultimate game on older people and the uninformed... Stay Away from GERMAIN TOYOTA OF NAPLES.. Matthew Reynolds was used as a pawn it seamed he had no control of all the numbers changing. Every time we went to the dealership a new player in there game came out and changed numbers. Even after we had it on paper they still continued to do it. In the straw that broke my heart was when Tom Hartman totally disrespected me for no resin other then try to pressure me to pay more... Very disappointing Dear sir / madam About 7 years ago I bought a Toyota Camry and Lexus LX470 new from the same group (Germain) in Naples Florida. The cars are bas Dear sir / madam About 7 years ago I bought a Toyota Camry and Lexus LX470 new from the same group (Germain) in Naples Florida. The cars are based at our seasonal residence in Naples, Florida. We only spend about 8 - 12 weeks a year there and the rest of the time they cars sit in a garage. So the cars have had the equivalent of about two years use. Largely we have been satisfied with how these cars have performed, however recently we found that the top of the dashboard in the Camry was literally melting - it had gone all sticky and every time it went in the sun, even in the winter, it got progressively worse. Honestly this has been going on for ages and I know we should have kicked up a fuss earlier, but we didn't know it was a common issue and Germain never told us, despite both cars going back for regular servicing. In any event, in April this year I called them about this problem. Germain insisted I come in so they could look at it, photographs were apparently not good enough. When I took the car in, I was kept waiting for about 20 minutes and then the service adviser took one look at the car and said, he agreed there was a problem. It was so fast and such an easy assessment, it is obviously something they have seen many times before. I have now checked online and it does indeed appear to have been a common problem with this year of Camry. Toyota were prepared to supply only the parts for free, but Germain would contribute nothing. So I had to pay out the extra $250 of labour to get it fixed. Now I know the car is a little older but it has only 30,000 miles on it and this is clearly a design or manufacturing problem. We choose Toyota as they have a great reputation but clearly this was misplaced. Germain also showed their true colors, as without extra profit motive they could not have cared less about wasting our time nor taking our money to fix an inherent defect in product they sold and profited from. Take home lesson, is Toyota is not what it used to be, buy a Korean car as they are still worried about their reputation. More
