I received a notice in the mail the recall remedy is available. When I made today's appointment I asked the woman (Lilly??) with whom I spoke to please put me on hold and CONFIRM with the parts departm available. She confirmed parts are available and scheduled the appointment. I arrived at the dealership at 8am with an appointment at 8:30am. A man came to the car and confirmed my name and appointment and advised "I'll let Devin know you are here". Forty minutes later, no Devin. The same man who checked me in asked who I was waiting for. Again, I said Devin. He went in to the office and spoke with Devin. When he came out I asked what was taking so long. He replied, "he has to get his computer up". Almost 10 minutes later Devin appears. I sat down and within a few minutes Devin told me no parts are available! They all have been used, we do not get parts delivery on Monday and I do not know when another part will be in. How is it the service manager and parts manager do not (cannot/will not/do not care enough ) meet to forcast what parts are needed for the next 1-2 weeks? Why can't these two departments ASSURE everything is availabe so customers can be taken care of? The short answer is, incompetence, lack of any business/management skill and lack of ability to critical think! As I stood in the service line for 40 minutes I had opportunity to watch the level of complete apathy of the staff. No one engaged with the customers waiting. They chatted amongst themselves, drank coffee, walked around and looked at their phones. Not one person appeared interested in doing their job. Heads down and moving at a snail's pace Prior to leaving Devin "promised" as soon as another part comes available he will assign that part to my ticket and call me to schedule my FOURTH attempt. I am not holding my breath it's going to happen. It's no wonder Gettel has poor reviews on social media. Every poor review is valid and earned. I sent an email to the GM, service manager and parts manager. I'm sure it will be read and deleted as that is the Gettel business model, screw the customer More
Took my wife’s Hyundai Santa Fe in after it broke down due, as they diagnosed, to a bad low pressure fuel pump. They replaced it and then died again two months later. Told us it was a bad part they put in due, as they diagnosed, to a bad low pressure fuel pump. They replaced it and then died again two months later. Told us it was a bad part they put in and replaced it again. Died 4 months later. So took it to another place. While talking to mark 8 months later about it, during the conversation he told me after I told him the first part didn’t work and he proceeded to tell me “it did work for 2 month.” NOT something you should tell the customer. Really bad customer service at this place. Tired of dealing with these people. More
Second bad experience at this dealership. They require an appointment but then make you wait longer than any doctor's office for such a quick fix. No one I spoke to was helpful, they all acted like they didn't know what was going on or how long it was going to take. I do not recommend this service department. They show no care towards their customers or regard for their time. More
