I brought my 2022 Kona in for a factory recall. Roberto helped me with a rental car which was good because one part was not available and had to be overnighted. The next day Roberto called to let me know that the car would not be ready until the following morning but he made sure there was no problem extending the rental. So far so good. After I drove away I noticed a bad vibration that was not there before the recall servicing. I called the service department several times and no one answered. I left at least 2-3 messages explaining all of this and no one ever called me back. I specifically said on one message I wanted to be sure the car was safe to drive but that got no response or acknowledgement. The vibrations started to decrease each day so I gave up on getting a call back. Since no one from the Service Department returned my calls I figured this was part of the effects of the recall and that the service department was not concerned. There is still a slight vibrating when the car is idling and at low speeds. It is annoying mostly because it was not there before the recall. I was disappointed that my messages were ignored and no one bother to explain that this was, or was not, a normal result from the recall servicing. More
Third time there for the same issue and they say there is no problem. They say it is a down shift at 11 miles per hour. I have never had a car do that. Took my 2014 Santa Fe in for its first scheduled maintenance check. Very well organized service department staff. Juan greeted me and took the necessary info before moving the vehicle to the bay are maintenance check. Very well organized service department staff.
