I was excited to lease a 2019 Genesis G70. I leased from the show room floor when it was one year old. After leasing I noticed a problem with the smoked trim (now a known issue with this model). The dealer replaced a couple of pieces of trim with defective pieces that later tarnished with all other trim pieces. After the dealership initially told me they wouldn't help, they later agreed to replace the pieces after I left a poor Google review. They said they would do this if I removed my review. This was in December of 2020, one full year after purchasing. After multiple attempts of reaching out to the dealership to complete their end of the bargain, I received no action. It wasn't until filing a BBB complaint that they finally replaced the pieces. However, they replaced the parts with pieces that have "no material" difference, so I expect these pieces to fail again. All of this could've been avoided if they would've disclosed the known issue at point of sale. More
