Second bad experience at this dealership. They require an appointment but then make you wait longer than any doctor's office for such a quick fix. No one I spoke to was helpful, they all acted like they didn't know what was going on or how long it was going to take. I do not recommend this service department. They show no care towards their customers or regard for their time. More
Mark was very kind. He assisted me with my 2019 Santa Fe service needs. My vehicle has 15,700 miles on it. Within 5 mins of Ray Norris, the assistant service manager approached me and asked if I wanted the Hyundia recommended one year front end alignment for $179 dollars. No place in the Hyundai owners manual does it recommend a yearly front end alignment. My tires are wearing evenly, and the vehicle isn't pulling to the left or right at all. So, why is the assistant service manager recommending a yearly front end alignment? The next issue I had with Ray happened within the next 5 mins. Ray approached me and warned me that if there is any issues with the rear brakes Hyundai would not cover the cost even though the vehicle has only 15,700 miles. I have a hard time beliving Hyundai wouldnt cover this cost. He said he would have the brakes inspected and get back to me. What does Ray do? He calls me and tells me the front rotors need to be resurfaced. I said Ray I asked you to inspect the rear brakes. He said that they started with the front. I then said to him you mean to tell me at 15,700 miles of driving my rotors need to be resurfaced? He said yes. This is the 5th Hyundai that I owned and never did I need brake service before 35,000 miles. On inspecting my front rotors at home, they look to be in very good shape. I would be willing to share pictures with anybody to prove that the rotors look great. I told Ray at this point I do not want him doing another thing to my vehicle. I picked the vehicle up and will have to take it to another dealer to have the rear brake issue addressed. Oh, and along the way he tried getting me to replace the air cabin filters because the vehicle is nearing a year old. It seemed to me his goal was not to address my issues, it was simply to rack up a big old bill on work that wasn't necessary and made sure it wouldn't be covered under warranty. More
