I purchased a used certified 2018 Nissan Maxima. At delivery I noticed a piece of trim missing on the lower front passenger side & loose shields hanging under the car. I showed the salesman & he said he’ll have it taken care of immediately and brought the car around to the service department. Finally the car was brought back out & I was told everything was taken care of and nothing appeared to be hanging down anymore. When I got home I looked closer under the car only to find out that a piece of trim was apparently removed from the driver’s side to match the missing piece on the passenger side. They tried to deceive me and sell me a car with now 2 missing pieces instead of simply installing the missing part. I called the dealership immediately and was told to bring the car right back. I went back & they of course made all kinds of excuses and apologized and said to bring the car back again the next morning to have the 2 missing parts properly installed. I dropped the car off the next morning. When I went to pick it up after being told it was completely checked out and parts installed, I looked under the car only to find bolts & clips still missing. Back to service on the lift it went again for the 3rd time to get corrected. Very frustrating. In the meantime the finance manager reminded me it’s a used car & offered to unwind the deal trying to make me feel inferior & like I shouldn’t expect a complete properly checked out vehicle from the Dealership. I was surprised and said you really want to unwind a deal over a few missing clips & bolts? Is it that unreasonable to buy a “certified” vehicle from the dealer & expect it to be a complete car? They finally installed the missing pieces correctly & I love my car but I wouldn’t say they can be completely trusted. More

I felt dumb to be asking the questions I had about my Altima’s technology, but Gettel’s Alyssa Brewer put me at ease, answered all questions, and made sure what needed fixing was fixed.
