I have given this review a lot of thought because I work for a luxury auto brand and I know how this personally effects the pay and work life of the salesman himself and very little effect on the dealership for a luxury auto brand and I know how this personally effects the pay and work life of the salesman himself and very little effect on the dealership as they will continue to operate the same way no matter what. Gettel itself is awful and I would give them a 0 star if I could. My parents were in desperate need of a Sienna limited specifically because it has the captains chairs in the rear for my handicapped father who is 6'3. Of course in this market, they are hard to come by that are not already pre-sold or are a 12-14 month wait time. Michael found an incoming unit and secured it for my parents which was AMAZING considering none of the dealers within my auto group could get one. Once I saw the buy sheet, I instantly got pissed seeing all of the add-on's that were completely useless to my parents outside of the pre-paid maintenance. Not to mention the 5k dollar dealer mark up (In this economy, I get it but it doesn't make the pill any easier to swallow) but I was ok with it because we have to pay up to get what we want, now. My words of advice to Gettel is to get with the times and not let a legal mafia like the SET control you. Cool, you make a dollar here or there on your added crap but it doesn't sit well with customers who are forced to have things like ugly pin strips down the side of their $60,000.00 car. Lastly, WHY WOULD YOU EVER make a customer sign a CSI form (Customer satisfaction form) while they are sitting in front of you ? Yet another company rule that is cringe and stupid. Thank you Michael for taking the time to get my parents what they need. They are super happy with their new "Cripple Mobile" as my dad calls it. You should get a raise for having to work through Gettel's rules. More
