WARNING February 8,2025 my daughter and I purchased a car at Gettel Toyota dealership in Lakewood. We had seen a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport for sale online and with a lot of miles. We made an appointment to test at Gettel Toyota dealership in Lakewood. We had seen a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport for sale online and with a lot of miles. We made an appointment to test drive and see the condition. The car has all the safety items were looking for knowing that this would be my daughters main car for school etc. But we were aware of the miles over 100,000. I did have some reservation about all the miles but the sales rep was kept reassuring us the car was inspected no major issues. On May 8th my daughter is on her way to school and the car will not go forward. Took to repair shop, diagnosis the transmission needs to be replaced. I reached out to sales manager Ryan Overstreet and gen manager Kemo Helal. No response from anyone. I know there will be wear and tear, which there is. But the lack of transparency or decency knowing this vehicle is for a mother and teenage daughter. When we went to look at the car we might have not asked the right questions. I received a coupon for Gettel’s oil change service and after the department associate accepted the coupon and completed the oil change, I was not able to redeem the coupon. I was told they do not accept c after the department associate accepted the coupon and completed the oil change, I was not able to redeem the coupon. I was told they do not accept coupons, however it came from their company. I followed up with Diane, she assured me that I could get a refund of the difference upon returning and bringing the receipt and coupon that was rejected. I went to the dealership and spoke with Jack regarding this issue. He was very hostile towards me and refused my refund. I followed back up with Diane again regarding yet another unfortunate situation, however she did not return my call. It is not about the money at this point. I am disgusted with the bad business, and lack of personal responsibility this establishment has shown. As a professional in customer relations, I know the importance of maintaining a good relationship and image for the business you are working for. This does not seem to be a priority in the employees at Gettel Toyota of Lakewood. More

I was in for routine service for my2022 Tucson last week. I was pleasantly greeted and shown where to stop the car. Shortly, Devon came out and directed me to his desk, explained the process, recommended se I was pleasantly greeted and shown where to stop the car. I leased a Highlander 4 months ago from this dealership, paid $7500 down. I talked to the salesperson the very next day and told him I hated the SUV. I have been back many times to try and get them to take paid $7500 down. I talked to the salesperson the very next day and told him I hated the SUV. I have been back many times to try and get them to take the car back and return my $7,500 or at least half of it. I even went down to their Punta Gorda dealership and tried to get them to ground the lease and get a GMC Acadia or Terrain. No deal. They refuse to help me without asking me for a lot more money and a higher payment. Therefore, my mistake. It will never happen again! Basically, I am stuck with this miserable vehicle for 3 years with no recourse other than to tell everyone I know to steer clear of them. More
