When i'm in the market, I just send my sales rep., Jim Heidecker an email with the specs of what I want and within a couple days I get a few window stickers back. I pick one and stop by and we negotiate the price. I've always gotten fair value for my trade and a nice discount to boot. I also usually get exactly what I want without waiting for a factory order. In the past, dealing with other dealerships, they always try to low ball me on the trade-in but that is not the case with Gilboy - I get right what Kelly says I should get. The first truck I bought there, I negotiated a price and was on my way out to look at another brand. I had already pretty much made up my mind I was going to buy the Ford but since I had a Dodge, I at least wanted to give them a shot. As I was getting in my truck, John Gilboy himself came out and offered me an additional $1,000 for my trade and I thought they had already given me a fair value. I've also gotten good service from Gilboy - they always provide a free loaner if I want one and get me in and out fast - especially the new "Quicklane" for routine maintenance items such as oil changes and inspections. A Dealer that you can "TRUST" I drove sixty miles to this dealer to purchase a used Jeep. When I got onto there lot, had a sales person greet me as soon as I exited my car, asked I drove sixty miles to this dealer to purchase a used Jeep. When I got onto there lot, had a sales person greet me as soon as I exited my car, asked me what can we do for you today, That person was not the sales person on this Jeep, but was so willing to help me with anything I needed! I went inside, VERY CLEAN, I was then greated by the owner, he to was willing to go out of his way to do anything to make my day special, he got me a cup of coffee, well that may seem like a small thing, the thought behind it was "HE" did it for me! I only purchased one new car, a 2002 Pontiac T/A from a local dealer near me, I felt like I was a bother to them because I did not want a fully loaded T/A that they had on there lot. Well to sum it up, I found my one and only dealership, maybe a little out of my way, but it is, and was worth the trip, GILBOY is my "GO TOO" dealership from now on!! Remarkable experience purchasing my Ford Edge We were car shopping various brands and did not plan to purchase that day. We sat in several vehicles, asked questions. We asked to test drive an Edge; which we did, receiving great info during our drive. While discussing features and prices, we decided to purchase even though the vehicle with our exact color and wants was not on the lot. After a test drive, there was no haggling over our trade as we were presented with the Kelly Blue Book print out for our trade. After a few days, our exact request was located. Per our request, our sales person ordered and installed all-weather floor mats before our arrival. The financing paperwork was ready to go also upon our arrival. All figures were clearly explained, financing options clearly explained with no pressure to choose any financing option we were not interested in. Before driving away in our new vehicle, our sales person reviewed all buttons and features in an orderly manner making it easy to follow, ask questions, and remember when I got home! More

Worst Dealership, Beyond Unfathomable I can not believe this business is still running, the way they treat their customers and lack of knowledge on the cars they work on. I purchased a car from this dealership 2 years ago and ever since it has been nothing but issues. Every time my car is in the shop it comes back with a different problem, and don't expect them to fix their mistake. They will just push you to another Gilboy representative that can talk politics, and make it sounds as if you are in the wrong. I hope this helps someone from not making the same mistake I did. After having multiple issues with their service and customer support I cancelled my warranty and am going to Ciocca and CBtuning.net from now on. More

fixed one thing and broke another I spent 2000.00 for timing belt fix after it was done and i paid the bill i drove off the lot and stopped at a red light when my car began to jerk vio I spent 2000.00 for timing belt fix after it was done and i paid the bill i drove off the lot and stopped at a red light when my car began to jerk violently and threaten to shut off ...it never did that before and i literally just drove off there lot after they fixed the timing which took a week..they left my car messed up with a whole new problem..i dont trust them now and will not return i am now taking my vehicle to shearer`s they specialize in vw and they are thorough and know what they are doing. .dont waste your money at Gilboy Vw. More
