I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and to have my brakes checked out. My front brakes were making a lot of noise and they were just replaced. When my car was ready no one explained to me what was wro brakes checked out. My front brakes were making a lot of noise and they were just replaced. When my car was ready no one explained to me what was wrong with my brakes the paperwork just said I either need new rotors, brakes, or my calipers pins lubricated. When I asked if anyone test drove my vehicle to see if they could figure out the problem I was told lunch was in 10 minutes, so I would have to wait 40 minutes for someone to test drive it. It should have been common sense to do a test drive on a vehicle that is making a lot of brake noise. I brought my vehicle to Gilchrist because they are supposed to be the professionals. I felt like they were just being lazy and did not fix the problem I came in for. More
I put notes in my service order request asking for a quote for a windshield replacement and replacement brakes. All I was told at the end was that I needed a tire rotation. My service summary sheet says that my windshield is fine (even though I signed a document saying it was cracked prior to my appointment) and that my breaks are fine - green boxes for both of these items. Great with the only exception being I was sent home with TPS fault and no readings in the display. Drove the vehicle back to the dealership to learn that a sensor had failed and needed to be replaced. Not s TPS fault and no readings in the display.
