Gillman Acura of North Houston

I scheduled an appointment to have the front brakes replaced on my Acura RDX, the front rotors turned and new brake fluid. The appointment was for 9:30 a.m. and I decided to wait at the dealership for replaced on my Acura RDX, the front rotors turned and new brake fluid. The appointment was for 9:30 a.m. and I decided to wait at the dealership for the car to be serviced. I arrived before my scheduled appointment and the service writer assigned to me was Ron. Ron never once kept me informed on the progress of my repairs and I was the one the had to check with him on the status. After FIVE HOURS, yes five hours my car was ready! That is a ridiculous amount of time for this type of work. The first time I tried to check back with him, he went for an hours lunch and never told me the progress of the car. When I did speak to him after his lunch he told me they only had one brake lathe to turn the rotors. If the service writer would have told me this was going to take 5 hours I would have asked for a service loaner. In my opinion, Gillman never should have made an appointment for me if they could not start working on the car in a reasonable amount of time. This is the second time I have had Ron as the service advisor and there will not be a third time. The first time he told me they couldn't find the leak in my tire. Funny how Discount Tire easily found it. I am thoroughly disgusted with the service I received today. More
