A shout out to Eric Wilson for helping me with an issue I purchased my 'pre-owned' Subaru Legacy from Glanzmann and they are the only ones who have serviced it. I have found them courteous and efficient a I purchased my 'pre-owned' Subaru Legacy from Glanzmann and they are the only ones who have serviced it. I have found them courteous and efficient and trustworthy--but I ran into an odd problem with my previous visit (for inspection). I received a report after their multipoint inspection that said I needed rear brakes and rotors for a repair costing around $500. I take their recommendations very seriously, but something rang odd. As I reviewed my past receipts/repair invoices when I got home, I noted that my rear rotors (but not pads) were replaced by Glanzmann just 5 months before in July. So I wouldn't need rotors. And the pads were good in July, and I don't drive my car many miles--- but of course I understand things can change. I was confused. To handle my confusion about what really needed to be done at that point, I made an appointment and spoke with Eric Wilson. I showed him my previous invoices for work done and asked if he would check the rear brakes again. He had technician Ryan Roett do just that, and I learned that my rear brake pads were 6/32, and so didn't yet need repair, From my research, pads need replacement as you head towards 3/32. Anyway: Eric was professional, helpful, and cleared up a confusing report, providing me with detailed information that will help me when it comes time to replace those pads. That's the kind of professionalism and excellent service I've received and expected from Glanzmann and they will have Eric and those like him to thank for my continued business. Thank you, Eric.
