Upon learning of our desired specifications, she hunted down the exact vehicle we requires and beat the price of all competitors. She made no attempt to entice us with a more profitable option that we didn't want. Most dealerships try to move their own inventory based on their needs and quotas. Christine was more concerned with supplying us with our specific and exact requests. This was evidenced further on our second purchase which was made a week later. Glen Cove Volvo's price was more competetive than any others from the start without any of the usual back and forth negotiating and drama. Christine, Christina and Grace are all amazing. They make up a sales team that represent themselves more like a sales family. Together, they worked tirelessly to ensure that we were satisfied with the sale rather than just to facilitate the sale. They are sincere and genuine when they say they treat their customers like they would treat their own family. Even their finance associate, Annemarie, was warm, friendly and accommodating. The purchase of a vehicle can be a difficult decision and should not be based on which dealership is closest to your home. For this reason, we ventured 30 miles out of our way to go to Glen Cove Volvo despite their being another dealership less than 2 miles from our home. I bought my first ever volvo in 2012 and the service and respect I received was the best of any car dealership I have interacted with. I am a woman who both times went in by myself and never once did they try and take advantage of that. They offered me the best price compared to other dealerships across the island. JC was a great salesman - at no point pressured me or held me to any commitment - he suggested I take the 2016 xc90 home overnight to try knowing this wasn't a done deal by any means - I came back the next day negotiated and we both comprised to make a deal. They gave me a great trade in value for my 2012 XC90 and was spot on with Kelly blue book online quote. Chris was efficient and got me the best financing I could have gotten. She at no point pressured me to get "extras" that most people dread at the end of the deal to be pressured to get. I was able to come into the glen cove dealership today and walk out with a brand new 2016 Volvo V60 fully loaded. The sales rep Ken, store manager Christine, and general manager Dumitru were excellent in customer care and making me overjoyed with my decision. The feeling of being used was non existent they made me feel comfortable as if we were family. Their service, knowledge and product was so good my mother is looking into buying a Volvo as well.
