Bill went out of his way to get the windshield quickly, worked with my insurance company and got us a loaner. It couldn't have gone any smoother. worked with my insurance company and got us a loaner. It couldn't have gone any smoother. More
Had a bizarre experience trying to buy a car from them. I can only assume that they didn't have the car they listed and were trying to bait and switch me to another car like most dealerships do, or the sal I can only assume that they didn't have the car they listed and were trying to bait and switch me to another car like most dealerships do, or the salesperson was totally inept. After inquiring on autotrader about one of their listings, i was contacted by a Stefanie Gonzalez. I asked her for the total price of the car with all of their fees and sales tax etc and she would not provide this for me. She said that I had to come in to the dealership in person to get this info. I told her that I live in FL and would not be flying up there just to get the total price in order to buy it, and that I have bought multiple cars before without being there. All I wanted to know the total price so I could wire them the money to purchase the car. I was trying to pay full asking price and not negotiate at all so I didn't understand why she wouldn't provide me with this so we could proceed with the deal. She proceeded to talk in circles and tell me that she needed to know how I was going to pick up the car and couldn't give me the total amount until she knew that. I told her I felt that was irrelevant and to just assume I would be driving it off the lot with a temp tag. Then instead of giving me the total amount, she said that they can only hold a car for 48 hours with a deposit. I assured her that I would have the car off their lot well before that once the deal was done. She continued to ask me more and more irrelevant questions and refused to give me the amount needed to purchase the car. She then told me that they were not responsible for shipping it and I told her for the third time, "dont worry about that, I will handle it all, just give me the amount so I can buy the car." This went on and on with her continuing to evade my questions but bringing up things that were totally irrelevant such as "well in your first email it said you were in zip code 07656" I let her know that autotrader must have told her that zip code because my search was a 50 mile radius of that zip code. Now we are on fifth email and I told her early on that I live in FL, so what is the point of bringing that up now? After going back and forth a few more times in the same frustrating manner, she stopped responding to me. I then finally wrote to her, "Never heard back from you. Do you want to sell me this car or not? If you are unable or unwilling to help me, please put me in touch with someone who can handle a simple cash deal with no price negotiations." Never heard back from that email either. Now again, I don't know if this is the dealership being so difficult, the salesperson just being really inept, or if it was a bait car that they don't own listed online just to drive traffic in. Regardless of what it was, this was a really bad first impression and would dissuade me from ever trying to buy from them again. More
