A Buyers Salesman. We have bought new Chrysler products since 1968. We bought a few, previously from Glendale, as early as 1978. Our salesman then was Tom Meyer. We have bought at almost ALL the Chrysler Dealers in the St. Louis area. IN 2010 , We met Jim Ottomeier at Royal Oaks in Ellisville. He IS A UNIQUE PERSON and a UNIQUE SALESPERSON. We were so impressed with HIM, that we bought our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee from him at that time. We did NOT buy it from ROYAL GATE, We bought it from Jim OTTOMEIER. Royal Gate just had it on their lot. We sent many people to see him and they all bought vehicles from him. My sister in law went back, after buying her 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee to buy her daughter a new Jeep Cherokee. They told her HE RETIRED. They did not tell her that they fired him. BIG MISTAKE. WE found out where he went and here we are. That Friday, we were only in to see the new Jeep Cherokees. My wife knew what she wanted but we were really just looking. JIM sold us the 2016 Jeep Cherokee that day. No PRESSURE or TYPICAL SALESPERSON ANTICS. Well, I am NOT NAIVE and I know that he DOES use Salesperson tactics, but he KNOWS how to do it , RESPECTIVELY. We talked for almost 6 hours, looking and asking questions. Jim is an ASSET to Glendale and they are very lucky to have him. NO, WE are not related to him, nor do we know him otherwise outside of the car business. We are proud to call him A FRIEND. We had never met Larry Striblin , the Finance Manager before but he treated us as friends, not customers. He also made us feel welcomed. I am 70 years old and I have seen and been through a lot. I am not easily impressed. We feel that we did not buy a vehicle. We feel that we made more friends. GLENDALE, we are in YOUR HANDS NOW. More
