So a few days before the date, my daughter and I walked onto your lot to see the models we researched and knew my wife Elena wanted. We were on the lot for about 30-40 minutes and the only person to speak to us was a mechanic doing something to a car in the lot. Luckily Kevin came on shift just when we were leaving. He introduced himself, asked if he could help us with anything, and even apologized for not getting in sooner. Let me also add that this is our 2nd purchase from Glendale. We were heading to another lot that we knew had the model we wanted and were not going to buy from Glendale, until we met Kevin. Kevin was incredible. I buy my cars online. I shop the inventories, price them out, and find the dealers who have practices and procedures that allow for e-buying. Being a finance professional, I know something of the equations to obtain proper pricing and getting financing is not an issue for us thankfully. If the car were for me, I wouldn’t have come in at all until ready to sign and drive off actually. So I wasn’t shopping, and made it clear to Kevin that I was buying, but only after I get honest, clear, factual numbers virtually that fit within the parameters I provided. I provide honest information, and he provides honest factual numbers. Kevin pulled that off brilliantly. After witnessing Kevin’s professionalism, courtesy, and honest approach, he made it perfectly clear that he was only here to help to make my anniversary gift to my wife the most special one yet. For these reasons, I decided to buy from him, and will likely do so again. I appreciate those businesses who appreciate their customers - and that is shown by the approach your team takes to connect with people BEFORE they choose to become customers. It is direct and real, and it is how Kevin got my business. If you asked for my opinion, I would suggest sharing his approach with others on your teams.
