In a matter of about 3 hours I looked, test drove, settled on a price and drove away with my new 2017 Santa Fe!! No once did I even feel uncomfortable with anyone there. Thank you Global!!! Bad salesmen, good pricing We really only bought the car b/c the cost/condition was what we needed and we needed a car relatively fast. The salesman was so off-putting that we a We really only bought the car b/c the cost/condition was what we needed and we needed a car relatively fast. The salesman was so off-putting that we are still shocked that we ended up purchasing something. He never really asked us what we were looking for in a car, he just wanted to know the one we liked from the lot. He tried to put us in multiple cars we expressed no interest in. At one point he left us in the car for 15-20 minutes while he went and met with another couple in their car, but never mentioned anything about having to do something else. He just gave us the keys and walked away. Despite liking the car, we were about 10 seconds away from just leaving when he returned. When it came time to finalizing the deal, he tried to make us finance when we never agreed to finance anything. Then he said he couldn't honor the price unless we financed. We wanted to buy it outright so we said, "Fine, we'll just leave." Suddenly, it was magically OK. The most irksome thing happened when we were done. He said that we needed to call him when we received the survey so that we could fill out the survey together b/c he won't make any money if we get one answer "wrong". He mentioned it like 5 times. SUPER unprofessional and awkward. Like I said, we are still kind of surprised we actually bought from them, but Hyundai's have a great reputation and warranty, and the car was in our price range. But the dealer and the Manager were both off-putting—the dealer moreso than the manager. The finance guy was surprisingly delightful though. We wouldn't go back and would not recommend the dealership, despite buying a car there. Weird, but true. More
GO TO GLOBAL...NOW MY SALESMAN DOUG SHENDELL WAS THE NICEST CAR SALESMAN I EVER MET. I USUALLY BECOME VERY NERVOUS AND OFTEN RUN OUT AS QUICK AS I CAN. I EXPLAINED MY MY SALESMAN DOUG SHENDELL WAS THE NICEST CAR SALESMAN I EVER MET. I USUALLY BECOME VERY NERVOUS AND OFTEN RUN OUT AS QUICK AS I CAN. I EXPLAINED MY FINANCIAL SITUATION TO HIM AND TOGETHER WITH KENNY SCHWARTZ WORKED ON A CAR WITHIN MY BUDGET. I GOT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL VEHICLE. WAS NOT EVER A HYUNDAI OWNER, BUT I WILL BE FOR LIFE NOW. I WAS INTRODUCED TO THE GENERAL MANAGER ED RUBINO AND HE TOOK THE TIME TO GREET ME AND GUIDE ME TO THE CORRECT SALESMAN FOR ME AND MY NEEDS. WHEN I CAME TO PICK UP MY PLATES, THEY ALL REMEMBERED ME, WHICH WAS A SURPRISE BUT IT MADE ME FEEL GOOD. I AM A FAN NOW AND HAVE BEEN RAVING FOR A COUPLE WEEKS ABOUT GLOBAL.. DOUG EVEN PUT MY PLATES ON, AT OTHER DEALERS I HAVE BEEN HANDED THE PLATES IN A PLASTIC BAG AND NO HELP. DORINDA BOCK More
