The buying process seemed smooth at first, but once the sale was finalized, the follow-through fell apart. When we picked up the car, there were visible scratches across the top and other marks that clearly should have been caught before delivery. Josh photographed the issues himself and assured us they would be fixed. He even offered to pick the vehicle up from my spouse’s workplace—something that never happened. We ended up bringing it back on our own time. We met with Steve Long on September 9 to explain what had happened. He said he would look into it and contact us. Nearly three weeks passed with no update. The only time we heard from anyone again was after we emailed him ourselves. Even then, the responses were brief, deflecting the matter to others rather than taking responsibility. Every single follow-up came only because we initiated it. The promises to “make it right” and “follow up” were never kept, and the dealership’s communication after the sale was nearly nonexistent. For a new-car purchase, that’s unacceptable. We expected professionalism, honesty, and consistent communication. Instead, it felt like once the sale was complete, we no longer mattered. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Goode Motor Mazda. More
