I had been from one dealership to another with no confidence in purchasing from them. I thought my search was over until spring time until I called Goss Dodge and spoke to Tyler. He didn’t play the sales guy games I had already experienced. He was down to earth and told his own life story so I felt comfortable dealing with him. Tyler was the reason I purchased my new 2020 Challenger R/T Plus from Goss Dodge and no where else!! Thank you Tyler for everything. This was the easiest car buying process I’ve ever had. Bought my 2004 Tacoma v6 5 speed TRD here back on 11/14/17 at 162k. The good - The original manufacturer did an amazing job making a reliable vehicle, I spent maybe an hour or two at Goss. (showed 11/14/17 at 162k. The good - The original manufacturer did an amazing job making a reliable vehicle, I spent maybe an hour or two at Goss. (showed up after 5pm) The bad - John in sales was rude and clearly had no desire to be there after 5pm. Sold me a vehicle that did not pass state inspection with a fresh sticker; work at goss was performed by Corey Laflam. E brake cable was broken going to passenger side, steering column u joint had tons of play, valve covers leaking onto the manifolds. Add to that I had old owners business cards flying out of the center vents at me for thousands of miles after, timing belt had not been replaced at factory scheduled interval and left me stranded, tire shine and a pressure wash of the engine bay to disguise leaks; and to no fault of Goss, brake lines were not replaced by Hulbert Toyota during the recall frame replacement. As a factory certified Toyota technician, I made no attempts to contact the dealership as a three hour drive was not worth trusting their service department given the state inspection/Lot check they performed. All in all, very typical for a used car department at a dealership. Would not have purchased here if not for the specific vehicle being sold. More
