He was also very thoughtful - we showed up with our kids in tow and when they got restless he busted out some fruit snacks :) The car we bought was already very competitively priced (it definitely wasn't overpriced like most used vehicles in Grand Junction), but I happened to find a smoking deal for the same make/model online, but about 4 hours away. I didn't want to drive that far to buy, but was willing to in order to save a few thousand dollars. When I brought this up with Adam and Jimmy they brought their price down to where their car truly was the best value I could find. Not only did I get a great price, but when I was looking at the car Adam nonchalantly mentioned that they "stood by all cars they sold". I didn't pay much attention to this, though, because 1) I'm a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and 2) it was too vague for me to think of it as any sort of "warranty". A few days after we bought the vehicle, I discovered a few things wrong mechanically. When I called Grand Junction Volkswagen to tell them about the issue, they had me bring it in to their shop. Once there, they gave me a loaner car and fixed everything, no questions asked. I didn't buy the extended warranty they offered, and the repairs done were not under the manufacturer's warranty - but they still fixed it. This was by far my most pleasant experience with a car dealership; I'd gladly send my own grandmother there to buy a vehicle. More
