She was very helpful in helping me decide between the Forester and Outback - really showing me the pros of each car and not pressuring me in one direction or the other. She was super accommodating when it came to affordability and she took great care of me and treated me like family. That's really what you want when you're buying a car - someone who really understands you and who can talk with you on your level. Would absolutely recommend anyone to her. More

Friendly and knowledgeable I came in with my father to look at a Forester XT. My sales person Jamie Borack was so warm, friendly, energetic and full of knowledge about the car. Right from the get go she treated my father and I as if we were life long friends of hers and that is not so common nowadays. During the test drive she pointed out all of the cars many features. Jamie made the buying experience really quick and easy, I didn't have to do much at all other than sign the paperwork, she did all the leg work. The sales manager and finance manager were extremely friendly as well. When I went to pick up the car, Jamie spent quite a long time with me in the car explaining what every button and knob do, including synching my phone with the car. I would definitely recommend Grand Prix Subaru and Jamie to my friends and family. After everything was completed not only did I get a new car but I felt like I made a new friend. I'm very happy I went to Grand Prix Subaru. More

The purpose of this review is to express my praise and appreciation for their management and sales team. At the start of my internet search three Subaru dealerships responded promptly with positive and encouraging results. The online sales representative from Grand Prix was the first to follow-up his email with a phone call. He listened carefully and then immediately consulted with the manager to confirm that the specific car I was looking for was actually "in stock" and within my price range. The answer was yes, so I scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. At the dealership I appreciated the warm and friendly welcome I received from sales representative Paul Kaplan. He conducts business as a true gentleman without any pressure or a hard sell. He kindly and politely shared his knowledge, experience and helpful information about the 2015 Forester. Paul then introduced me to Jayson Schrager, the General Sales Manager. During the ongoing discussions and negotiations I observed that Jayson was readily available for consultation, consistently patient and courteous and genuinely interested in helping me to purchase a car of my choice. Once I actually saw and experienced being in the car I quickly realized that this was precisely the right one for me. Therefore I am pleased to report that working with Paul Kaplan and Jayson Schrager and purchasing this 2015 Forester from Grand Prix Subaru was indeed AN EXPERIENCE IN EXCELLENCE. More

I went to their web site and found a used 2 Grand Prixs Subaru doesn't even deserve 1 star... This is absolutely the worst auto dealership !!! I went to their web site and found a used 2012 Subaru Outback... I followed their instruction to the letter: "Must print this ad and finance 80% through dealer to get internet price." I also read all the fine print: "Must Finance 80% Through Dealer Internet Price reflects an $800 Financing Rebate Price does not include applicable tax, title, and license. Not responsible for typographical errors. So the only addition charges should be: sales tax, and DMV fees We no sooner started negotiations and the salesperson immediately added on $795 (Transportation and Dealer Prep) and a $299.50 Filing Fee TOTALING AN ADDITIONAL $1,094.50 OF BOGUS CHARGES! Then when the salesperson handed me the loan contract to sign I notice that a $1,300.00 dollar Service Contract had been added without my knowledge or permission! At this point I told the salesperson and the manager that I DON'T A SERVIVE CONTRACT. They claimed that the lender requires it - WHICH IS YET ANOTHER LIE !!! WITH $2,400 IN HIDDEN FEES I KNEW I WAS DEALING WITH SHYSTERES AND LEFT IMMEDIATELY!!! Grand Prix Subaru IS THE WORST DEALERSHIP AROUND !!! THEY ARE VERY DISHONETS, THEY DO HONOR THEIR ADS AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!! Only unscrupulous dealers try to include dealer prep and filing fees in a sales contract! Only unscrupulous dealers try to include an auto service contract in your loan without your consent! Fortunately there are plenty of reputable Subaru dealers on Long Island!!! Grand Prix (Pricks) Subaru SHOULD BE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! More
My happy purchase I am very busy and did not want to spend endless hours at a dealership. I explained what I wanted and Karan showed me the Outback and the price. That night I called and made a deposit over the phone. Later that week a few emails and I was ready. We went over the paper work and the car. I was out of there in less than an hour. The following week I had some concerns called Karan and again within a few days he took care of everything. No haggling no pressure no games: just good old fashion service, the way it should be. She understood that safety was of great importance to me and that I also wanted to have something that was good on fuel. As my budget was tight, she showed me several cars on the sales floor that would make me feel comfortable and that would possibly be in my price range. Knowing that I really liked the Crosstreck XV she found one that was in my range and that I really liked. She spent some time making sure that everything was going to work for my budget and comfort level. Time was not an issue as her goal was to make sure that I was happy with the car and the service I was given. I would recommend Jamie to anyone that I know who is looking to get a car. My boyfriend will be in the market soon as we will be sure to return to Jamie as she was amazing, friendly, always had a smile on and my satisfaction was her number one goal. More

Low Stress Purchasing I researched Subaru for my next vehicle. When the XV Crosstrek came out, I decided it would most adequately suit my needs. After performing my due d I researched Subaru for my next vehicle. When the XV Crosstrek came out, I decided it would most adequately suit my needs. After performing my due diligence reviewing dealers, obtaining quotes, and visiting showrooms, I came to Grand Prix Subaru. My sales representative was Roy Wander. I will first say that Roy was extremely helpful in making this one of the smoothest processes for purchasing a car. Since the model and options I wanted were not available on the lot, and since it was very close to the end of the model year, my vehicle would be a factory order. Take into account that answers from other dealerships ranged from having the car and quoting a price $3000 too high, to quoting a price for my trade in (a honda civic) WITHOUT EVEN INSPECTING IT, to claiming they have the car, then when I call to set a time for dropping off a deposit, being told they can't get the car, can't order it, and maybe I would like a 2015 or a hybrid instead. So that being said, I was not at all averse to factory order. In addition, Grand Prix Subaru offered me the largest value for my trade-in of any dealership I spoke with. When adding all these factors together, Grand Prix and Roy came out on top. The downside, Roy explained, was that a factory order can take 6 to 12 weeks. While this was a bit of a blow, I decided to move ahead and hope my Subaru would arrive before the snow hit. Roy kept me updated every step of the way, with emails informing me of factory order status, vehicle order number, and VIN when available. To my surprise, I received an email AND a phone call from Roy, informing me that the car had arrived. This was EXACTLY 1 month after the completion of the order and my deposit. Picking up the car was easy, and Roy got me through the sometimes lengthy process of taking ownership as quickly as possible. Roy was able to determine the type of experience I was looking for as a customer, and was able to tailor the functions of the dealership to suit my needs. Moreover, when the car had arrived, EVERYTHING was EXACTLY as I had ordered it. No IOU's, no "oops", no bait and switch or attempts to change the original agreement. I will definitely be returning when it is time to replace our old Forester. More
