Via an internet quote he gave me a price that was significantly lower than the next best quote. You often worry that something will go wrong with a low quote when you actually show up, but there were no surprises. Anything extra such as tax and document fee was stated clearly on the quote, and the total price was exactly what I expected. Chris was very straightforward and clear in explaining everything. The car was special ordered, which I knew before coming in. It was promised to me in 12 weeks and was actually delivered in 8 weeks. When we picked it up Chris went over everything: the paperwork, the manuals, and the car itself. He was very knowledgable about everything and there was no feeling of being rushed. He mentioned all the extras that he could sell us, but there was no high pressure or any kind of pressure. When I said I wasn't interested, he moved on. I'd definitely buy again from Grand, and I'd definitely ask for Chris. The only downside of the agency was the finance guy who you have to deal with before you pay. I bought the car for cash with no trade-in, so this should have been a simple and short transaction. Even though Chris had called down to find a time when he could see us, he still kept us waiting for about a half hour. When he finally got to us, he tried to sell us everything under the sun, and this was not low pressure. He wouldn't take no for an answer until I had to get a bit unpleasant and tell him that there was nothing I was going to buy from him and he was just wasting his time and mine. At that point he got rather surly, but he at least got down to business and finished the transaction. The final blow was that his printer was almost out of ink, and the documents he gave me, including the registration, were barely legible. Finance guys are often the weak link at every dealership. We looked at several different cars and spoke with several different dealerships. Once we decided which car we wanted, we started our search on the internet to see what pricing we could get. We have bought several cars over the internet and have always found the experience to be quite painless. We received pricing from our internet salesman, Matt Drwal. Matt's pricing seemed too good to be true. There was not another dealer who could come close to his price. We were a little worried that the deal might have been too good to be true. When I spoke with Matt on the phone, I told him that we did not want to waste our time driving out of our way to find out that there was more to the deal than we had thought. Matt assured me that he could have the car washed and ready before we got there and he would do his best to move the process along as quickly as he could. I think that the whole process took a little over an hour. The car was ready, washed and full of gas when we got there. The paperwork was filled out quickly. We were presented with extra options, but we did not feel pressured to buy anything extra. Matt went over every feature of the car and explained everything in a very simple manner. The finance manager couldn't have been nicer. He also explained everything and made sure that we understood all of the financing details. Once we were all done, Matt put our new license plates onto our new Forester, asked us if we had any other questions, and we were on our way. My daughter loves her new Subaru Forester More

Admittedly I was skeptical of setting up the purchase over the phone, and traveling 300 miles for delivery, but having taken the chance I am thoroughly satisfied. Particularly I want to acknowledge Matt Drwal, with whom I worked to make the purchase. I found him forthright, responsive, and affable. He delivered the exact vehicle I wanted in short order at a price that far exceeded all of the competition I researched. Glenn Miller was the Internet Salesman that my wife and I dealt with. Everything was upfront with no games. Glenn was awesome! He found us a Crosstrek that was in transit to the dealership and put it aside. When we completed the transaction it went smooth and quick with no surprises! Quick, no hassle purchase experience I bought my car through USAA Tru-Car. Matt, the internet sales consultant,contacted me within 2 hours of my initial expression of interest through US I bought my car through USAA Tru-Car. Matt, the internet sales consultant,contacted me within 2 hours of my initial expression of interest through USAA. I made a brief visit to dealership in Dec to test drive a Legacy. I ordered the car and Matt indicated it would be available in Feb. He contacted me Feb 9th to say car was ready and I set up appointment on Feb 11th. While I did have to spend 2 hours there completing paperwork and listening to business manager, it was painless compared to previous experiences. They didn't press other optional services, just offered and accepted my answer. The trade-in value on my old car was lower than what I expected based on Kelley Blue Book but not enough to go through hassle of selling it myself. Almost perfect car buying experience. More
