The good, bad and ugly! If it were not for my salesperson going way above and beyond I wouldn't bother to even give them the rating I did. After emailing for a week or so I made plans to drive to Chicago and look at a used Subaru. After taking another look at the photos I noticed a part was missing on the power seat control. I ask about this, was never ordered so had to cancel plans on going that weekend after putting in a request for Saturday afternoon off work. Had to wait till the next Saturday to go. After test drive the out of gas was flashing and ask about it. Joe took it down himself to put in gas, 4 GALLONS is all he is allowed! Would hardly get me out of Chicago. Joe handed us $20.00 toward more gas. Sad the salesperson works for some cheap idiot that doesn't allow a full tank. Buying cars for over 50 years this was a first time I drove out of a dealer without a full tank. Well Joe was out getting gas he noticed the radio wasn't tuning. Antenna was shot which is in the windshield. He went to service and personally installed a temporary so at least it works until I can get a new windshield. What happened to the big CHECK LIST they say they do when inspecting a used car before it's put on their lot for sale! Personally I will not return here for another car nor would I ever recommend them. More

Sale of used 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX STi I had been looking around for quite some time and trying to quickly get a 2015 Subaru Impreza STi with a very specific contents package and color. Als I had been looking around for quite some time and trying to quickly get a 2015 Subaru Impreza STi with a very specific contents package and color. Also I wanted to get in one to test drive it, which was difficult since all 2015 STi cars everywhere seemed to be resold already. Optionally I started looking at 2014 cars to see what would offer. After coming across this dealer, I found the car I ended up buying online and called to do a test drive. The same day Steve helped me to not only do a test drive of the used 2014, but also an immediate back to back test drive of the 2015 STi. After choosing the 2014 for various reasons, working with Steve on all the paperwork, including getting everything I needed for this car at a reasonable price, was flawless, quick, and unproblematic. He picked me up from the airport after flying in to pick up the car, and took excellent care of me as a customer, and was very patient with me and clarifying all of my questions immediately. Grand Subaru saves Thanksgiving! My wife and I where about 2 hours into a long trip home for thanksgiving when my car broke down. A quick google search showed Grand Subaru was the closet Subaru dealership to us so we called. Even though it was noon the day before thanksgiving they said they could absolutely take a look at our car! One thing lead to another and we ended up just trading in our old car and getting a newer Subaru on the spot! EVERYONE at the dealership from the service garage to the receptionist who answered our original call to Tom Hartigan who sold us our new Outback were super helpful, knowledgeable and understanding of our situation! It was amazing to see an entire dealership rally to get us the car we wanted, take care of our old car and get us back on the road to make thanksgiving with my family as quickly as possible. I wish this dealership was in my home town. I may even have to make a trip when I get reading for Subaru #3..... More

The price I worked with Melissa and Dan. Dan negotiated a deal for a 2015 Forester that was unmatched by other Michigan and out of state Dealerships.. The price was shockingly and undeniably reasonable/fair and there were no hidden costs. Melissa is a gem! she promptly sent emails always keeping me apprised of my purchase and even had someone pick me up from the train station in Bensonville. When I finally met Melissa, she was cheerful, professional, and provided great customer service, despite the fact my train arrived later than expected and it was almost the end of Melissa's work day. She thoroughly reviewed my purchase, respected my decision not to add extras, showed me my vehicle and it's features, and went out of her way to get me safely back to Michigan. I have never experienced such a no nonsense, honest, haggle free buying experience in my life and I will certainly buy my next vehicle from Grand Subaru! Thank you!!! More
