I found my recent experience at Granite Subaru arrogant, disrespectful, and self-serving. The primary appointment purpose was to diagnose the root cause, recommend actions, and resolve an intermittent CEL ( disrespectful, and self-serving. The primary appointment purpose was to diagnose the root cause, recommend actions, and resolve an intermittent CEL (Check Engine Light) preventing a successful NH State Inspection. Further, I explicitly communicated to the individual who booked the appointment and the employee who checked me in on site, Subaru recalls – although outstanding – were only to be discussed after the primary CEL issue was resolved. After 6.5 hours I followed up with the service department. At that time an email was forwarded to me that detailed approximately $13,000 of repairs needed to address the CEL and State Inspection. The amount was described by the Service Personnel as “Crazy”, and the best option would be to use a local/non-Dealer service provider. I immediately declined all service recommendations. Lastly, when I picked up my vehicle, I was informed that the outstanding recall services were completed against my direction and without my authorization. The arrogance to believe a replacement Catalytic Converter for a 17-year-old vehicle is worth $10,000, disrespecting the customer by not providing feedback for 6.5 hours and, self-serving by performing recall service – against my direction and without authorization – because of the revenue generating component. It is unfortunate that we will have to take our new 2021 Subaru Crosstrek elsewhere for service and state inspections. Although we have free inspections for life, it appears you do get what you pay for. More
The service at Granite Subaru has always been outstanding even through problems/issues which I am experiencing now. To start, they were willing to help an out of stater get the vehicle inspected by a private party, hugely thankful for their support there. We had some out of state titling issues (not their fault), and I will say there is a committed team at Granite, and when one is on vacation another steps in seamlessly. I was impressed with their dedication and follow through. Would recommend Granite Subaru highly. I truly thought they cared and handled the issues with the upmost of professionalism. I was pleasantly surprised with how smooth everything went from the time I called Granite Subaru until the next morning when I picked up my car. I’m a traveling nurse and only here for a few months so I’m not very familiar with the area or the dealership when I called, but I have to say I was Very impressed by the service I received at Granite. A huge Thank You to Jess, Tim, James in the service department for being so polite, kind, and helpful, and the guys I didn’t meet behind the scenes who took the time to not only fix my tire but also took the time to Inspect and fix the recalls on my car! I have to say, the guy who towed my car to Granite said that Service was “Top Notch” and I couldn’t agree more!!! I would highly recommend Granite Subaru in the future. More

I always appreciated that and was hoping that it would be restored when the construction project was finished. More recently, you gave me a coupon for a free car wash at Haffners.
