Like the set price Grappone system We bought a very basic Hyundai Accent from Grappone. The transaction from start to finish was much like buying anything else. They told us the price, we examined it, we bought it. They were very clear that they do not negotiate on price, and that they are not paid a commission. The same company owns several other dealerships (we also visited Honda and Toyota) who said the same thing. It certainly worked for us, as the price we paid was thousands less than any other car we looked at. They truly made us an offer we couldn't refuse. If I'm forced to pick nits, the only real downside of the experience was that the car as delivered had some sticky residue from the shipping foam on the doors. I didn't notice it until I got home, so I removed it myself. Also, they couldn't (wouldn't?) tell me how to disable the seat belt alarm, so I had to figure that out myself (hint: requires a special torx screwdriver for tamper-resistant screws). More
