I’ve been a customer at Green’s Toyota for the last 4 years. I never had an issue with them and always received good service. However, I just purchased a 2007 FJ Cruiser and went straight to Green’s years. I never had an issue with them and always received good service. However, I just purchased a 2007 FJ Cruiser and went straight to Green’s for a check up and oil change. I spent $941 and found out that the rear differential needed replacing. They quoted me $2,750 for the part. My nephew works at a dealer in SC and told me the part is listed for $1,830 in the Toyota parts center online. I asked the advisor about it and he told me that they just had a meeting where they were instructed that no discounts would be granted to their markups. You would think they would work with me having spent almost $1000 on the same vehicle with them and $934 on our 2011 Camry with the purchase of new tires. I called Nicholasville Toyota and they are doing the same repair for the cost of the part. No markup! I am very disappointed with Green’s Toyota as now I’m wondering how many other times did I over pay. I feel that they did not care for my business and Nicholasville Toyota is welcoming me with open arms. Take this review as a warning and do your due diligence when given an estimate. Check with other dealers. More
