My name is James Taylor, I help my son with his car maintenance. I made an appointment Fri. the 21st. for an oil change. Was told to come in Sat. 22nd @ 11:30AM. Trey Stephenson was courtesy and profes maintenance. I made an appointment Fri. the 21st. for an oil change. Was told to come in Sat. 22nd @ 11:30AM. Trey Stephenson was courtesy and professional. I explained to him that my son and his mother had purchased the car at Jeff Hunter. And after a couple of visits for oil changes. I found their work very unsatisfactory. Their car multi point inspection very lacking. No fluid levels checked or topped off etc. I decided to bring my son's Civic to your dealership for Honda service! Needless to say, NONE of the fluid levels were topped off by yourselves. I took care of that after getting it home, it made wonder about the other check points. I did ask to check the brake pads to see how many mm were left, and I was told that. But Trey was more keen on me changing the brake and transmission fluid. I told him I will do that, but I would have to budget for that in a few weeks. 141.00 for the trans. 142.00 for the brake fluid. I ask why the brake fluid wasn't topped off (it was below full level) He said you do not add new fluid to the old. I understand the importance of both, as I was a mechanic by trade. I understand also the importance of using Honda Transmission fluid for the CVT, which I will be brings it in for that. The brake fluid change I think is a little over priced for DOT 3. With that being said I felt a little let down. More

My only slightly negative comment is how expensive maintenance parts are. I've able to purchase things like a cabin filter online for less than 50% (in fact, they may have been 25% of the costs) of wh maintenance parts are. Due to an emergency (a nail in my tire), I had to schedule a service ahead of the already scheduled one later in the week. Such re-scheduling was highly efficient. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We brought the car in because the battery died but we were glad they let us know that there were maintenance items overdue. As pretty old people, we appreciated the fact because the battery died but we were glad they let us know that there were maintenance items overdue.
