He explained the gap insurance very well to us and we appreciated his time and effort to get us out of there as soon as he could. The only drawback would be the amount of time it takes to purchase a vehicle. We were there around 4:45pm and did not get done until 8:30pm. That is way too long for any transaction so speeding up this process would put you miles ahead of the competition. I typically dread looking for a car because it takes too long to purchase once you know what you want. If you can find a way to make this happen in one hour or less after you find the car you want that would make this the ultimate experience and I would never dread it ever again. More

I set up an appointment anyway just to go see what he had for me, and I'm glad I did. Him and his team worked hard with me to get me an awesome deal that fits my budget on a car that I love. Compared to the interest rate that I've been getting everywhere else, I just couldn't believe I was getting such a low interest rate even with no cosigner. The whole personnel is very friendly and I'm very happy I went to this dealership. They really went the extra mile for me and I definitely recommend them to anybody shopping for a car, especially if you have a limited credit like me you need to go see JON!!! THANKS GUYS!!! More
The experience that I had buying my truck from Gregg Young was one of the easiest that I have ever done. I have bought several cars and trucks through out my life and none of the dealerships have ever g Young was one of the easiest that I have ever done. I have bought several cars and trucks through out my life and none of the dealerships have ever gone the extra mile like Jonathan the sales specialist did. He was waiting for me at the airport when I arrived at the airport. The truck was just as Jonathan describe to me. It was hard for me to buy a truck site unseen since the only time before I did that, it was not a good situation at all to say the least. All the paper work was ready and it did not take very long at all in with the finance department. To sum it all up I arrived at the airport at 10:30 AM and was driving off with my new truck at 1:00 PM complete with a free steak dinner at the dealership Corvette Cafe. I am currently in a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. I took the measures to get legal permission to purchase a newer vehicle when my 1994 Toyota Camry was no longer feasible means of transportation. I worked with Mr. John Gundersen and he took care of me from day one especially after I ran into some legal discrepancies with the Chapter 13 motion. Mr. Gundersen was patient while I had to repeat the legal process and update legal paperwork to secure a 2008 Toyota Camry. Even thereafter, the dealership made some minor repairs to the 2008 Camry and placed me in a rental car while in the meantime. The last bump in the road was a minor titling issue that was expediently rectified and the deal was secured. I would definitely recommend this dealership and specifically Mr. John Gundersen, with knowing my financial situation, worked hard and didn't beat around the bush or sugar coat anything and very knowledgable which was immensely appreciated. I am writing this review because my 2 daughters and I were looking for new vehicles for them. We set an appointment with John Gunderson. When we arrived we were met at the door by a very polite person wh were looking for new vehicles for them. We set an appointment with John Gunderson. When we arrived we were met at the door by a very polite person who had John paged to come to the show floor. John met us on the show floor and proceeded to take us outside to look at cars. My girls are very difficult girls to say the least, they take after their mother. John ran his butt off showing the girls several different cars. Once they finally made a decision they each went on a test drive. John went an extra step and brought back cold beverages for each of us. He even brought back the correct soft drink for each of us. That is how attentive he was to my family. Just by spending time with us walking around the car lot and listening he knew what are favorite drink was. He went the extra mile which is not common anymore. John spent 4 long hours with my girls getting them the deal of a lifetime. He even gave them a great deal on their trade ins that he had never seen. We greatly appreciate everything John did for us! The next time we purchase vehicles it will be with John. My experience with Gregg Young was an exceptional business event to say the least. I began my search for a car about two or three months before I committed to the make and model I was interested in. business event to say the least. I had done business with Greg Young on two previous occasions so when I am back in the market I always stop by their lot first. No matter who had assisted me in the past, I drove away with a deal I was happy with and a business experience that was always outstanding. On this particular occasion, I wasn't quite ready to buy and I was only interested in getting a feel for a couple specific models, the Sonic and the Cruize. Upon entering the show room, I was immediately greeted with friendly professional staff. I was introduced to Jonathan Gundersen as the salesman to assist with my interest on this visit. I explained to Jonathan that right now I was just looking but did want to at least sit in the new Sonic to see if it would be a model I would like to keep on my list of possibilities. Jonathan was very polite and understanding of my desire to just look right now. I did mention that I was going to be looking at some other new models (Dodge Dart and Ford Focus among a few I wanted to look at) at other dealerships so I can narrow down the one(s) when the right time came. I felt absolutely no pressure from Jonathan during this interaction and I was very satisfied with the Sonic that he showed me. I mentioned that I was a month or two out from giving any serious action towards a purchase. Because of my past experience and how respectful Jonathan was, I told him I will check back with him when the time came. Jonathan and Gregg Young did keep in contact with me in the following week or so about my interest in having a closer look at things. Again, I mentioned I wasn't ready yet and to give me a couple months. They were courteous with respecting my need for more time. When the time came, I knew I had to visit with Jonathan again. I had already ruled out all the other makes and models and was really only interested in the Sonic. I did some searching on the internet to find the exact model style that I wanted and made a call to Jonathan. We arranged a date and time to test drive the Sonic and sit down to begin some general figures. At this time, I mentioned that we were a bit unhappy with our recent purchase of my wifes car just a couple months before from another dealership. I told him that if all goes well, there may be an opportunity for a double purchase in one deal for him. Jonathan and I did business together over the course of the next three evenings I think to work out a deal that could send him our two trade-ins in return for a fair price on two new cars. I had a strict budget I was going to stick to and I was key on sticking to it if we were to go with two new cars. I knew there was a solid chance that my goals were a bit unrealistic for getting a deal done but I wanted to see what they could do. I had chosen a 2013 Sonic and my wife had chosen a 2010 Civic so I knew that I may be just getting one car and I was prepared for that. Jonathan during this time had introduced me to Jason Roessner as the man working the numbers. Both men worked very hard to get both cars into my tight budget for such quality vehicles. Initially it just wasn't going to work. I was ok with that. Jason and Jonathan though wanted to keep trying to meet my goals. I didn't feel pressure at all during this time because I knew what I should expect and everyone continued with outstanding friendly professionalism. We went back and forth for a while and I was pleasantly surprised when the numbers finally met my budget. All in all I think Jonathan and I spent about 12hrs from beginning to end over the course of those three evenings to close the deal on two new cars. The courtesy from all involved was second to none in my book and the deal was one that, like I said before, I thought was not very realistic, but knowing my credit and experience on previous purchases I knew it was worth a shot and this team did it. Super job everyone! My wife and I are very happy with our vehicles and could not have asked for a better team to make a two vehicle deal with. The customer service did not end there either. I received follow up calls for a couple days to see if there was anything else they could help me with. There was a part of the deal that was a bit unusual, kind of a misunderstanding on both sides, which was a pending down-payment I was waiting on before the deal could be officially closed. Jason was so nice with acknowledging that he and I both had misunderstood one another about this little detail of the deal but I wanted to thank him for being patient as I waited for the last detail to be in my hands so I could give it to them. In a nutshell, go to Gregg Young and ask for Jonathan Gundersen and I doubt you will ever find a better staff to do business with after one hand shake. More
Last week my wife and I decided we needed new vehicles that were reliable. Neither one of us had ever purchased a new vehicle let alone two of them. After doing some research on what types and kinds of that were reliable. Neither one of us had ever purchased a new vehicle let alone two of them. After doing some research on what types and kinds of vehicles we wanted, we decided we still needed some questions answered. We had a phone conversation with Jonathan Gundersen at Gregg Young late Saturday afternoon. We gave him all of the particulars on what each of us wanted in our respective vehicles. This list included "must have" and "would like to have" for each of us. Jonathan was very attentive during our phone conversation and worked with our busy schedules to set up an appointment at the dealership three days later (Tuesday). When we got to the dealership at 6:00 pm we walked into the showroom and was greeted by a very professional office assistant. We met Jonathan and he took us over to the offices (cubicles) and talked with us about what Gregg Young was about. No pushing us to see cars right away, just some nice casual conversation for both parties to discuss what they hoped to achieve during the course of business. About 20-30 minutes later it was time to go look at what Jonathan had to show us. He absolutely wowed us with how spot on the vehicles were compared to what wanted. He went over my wife's vehicle first, a 2013 Chevy Traverse. He went bumper to bumper giving us the breakdown and answering my wife's questions. After the test drive, which was great because we talked the whole time. Not about the deal mind you, but about us and even about Jonathan. Next we went over my vehicle, a 2013 Chevy Sonic. Same thing, we continued our very personable conversation while I test drove the Sonic. We we got back to the dealership I thought I would be brought back to reality. My wife and I don't have the best of credit due to some untimely lay-offs, a chapter 13 bankruptcy that just got discharged, and medical bills. I was certain that we wouldn't be able to get either vehicle, or best case scenario only get my wife's vehicle. We went through the paperwork, answered questions, and gave them the documents we were asked to bring. We drove my wife's 2004 Oldsmobile Alero there so they looked it over for trade-in value purposes. We brought the title to both of our cars just in case, so Jonathan asked me some questions about my 2001 Chevy Impala. They offered great trade-in prices for both, without even seeing my vehicle. Jonathan then proceeded to the manager's office and came back with printouts breaking down our prices and our options. It was plain and simple and not filled with pressure to do one thing or the other. We made our choices and decided to see what happens next. What happened was we were told we were going to talk to Austin Jones in financing and he would work with their network of lenders to get us the best deal possible. I thought to myself, "This is not happening, something is going to go wrong". Nothing ever went wrong. The amount of paperwork that goes into buying one car is crazy enough, but we were buying two in one night. The team at Gregg Young was courteous, professional, and caring. They worked HARD to get us a reasonable and fair deal. And patient, let me tell you we got there at 6:00 pm and left at 11:00 pm with two new vehicles. I told Jonathan this, "I have a 17 year old son and a 14 & 13 year old daughters. You do right by us there is a potential for three more cars to roll off this lot. But if you mess up, I have no problem going somewhere else." I'll tell you what. I will never buy a car from another dealership as long as Gregg Young is in business and judging by the way they deal, I will never have to.
