We were lucky enough to getting started and get the car to the side of an entrance to a gas station. There would stood with an entire family enjoying the Holiday stuck in car that is a hybrid and suppose to operate on gas as well, no not a Gregory Electrical Lemon. Totally dead and left to some car or semi to rear end us as they drive to the gas station. Oh, we tried the Hyundai roadside assistance, guess what, that was not working. Finally, walked away from the car with my twelve year daughter, my wife and 82 year mother. Happy holidays Gregory Hyundai! It cast us $112 to tow the car and 40 dollars to take an Uber home, will Gregory Hyundai reimburse? No frickin way! You see a brand new that was purchased at your dealership and left overnight by a tow truck in your lot, do you call the owner the next morning, do you return any of their 3 calls? No No No!! My wife even mentioned that she was a nurse and had to go to work, of course we all know the importance of first responders to businesses after the pandemic, nurse who? They don’t care what happened to the family that was in the car just mysteriously left in their lot! Add on- this dealer sells hybrids and electric cars, all electric cars like Rivian. Yet, here is the quote from obviously the lowest man on the poll that Gregory Hyundai arranged to talk with us. “We don’t know how to fix the problem”. “This has never happened before”. Unfortunately, I had delegated the research on this company before using them because they are company cars and, frankly, I trusted that in a high-end neighborhood like Highland Park, they would be reputable. Normally, I would have done more homework. Unfortunately, every effort to resolve this professionally was rebuffed. I even offered to buy a new car for a reasonable trade-in on the old one. Although I had the car for only months, they offered me about $15k less than the price for which I bought the used car, a ridiculous deal. More

Gregory Hyundai has earned their shady reputation. I tried giving them a chance and regretted it. I recently had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a used Toyota Tacoma from Gregory Hyundai. I wanted it because it seemed to be in pretty good condition and it had low mileage, and to make my fiancée happy. I did some research into comparable Tacomas and the price seemed a bit high. I managed to negotiate it down a bit by about $300, but the salesman assured me that dealerships are “putting their best foot forward” in their prices and that they couldn’t go any lower. Well, after purchasing the truck I decided to take it in for service at a certified Toyota dealer where they appraised the truck for about $6000 less than what we paid for it. The Gregory Hyundai dealer had also assured me that their prices “are set by AI”, as if that is supposed to mean anything. Don’t be fooled by that line, it’s a gimmick to trick people who don’t know any better. To make matters worse, just a week after the purchase, I discovered that the axle boot needed repair. This is something any reputable dealer would have fixed before selling the vehicle or, at the very least, disclosed to the buyer. But not Gregory Hyundai. They chose to hide this critical information, leaving me with an unexpected and very expensive repair job right off the bat. The lack of transparency and honesty is appalling. It’s clear that Gregory Hyundai is only interested in their bottom line, with zero regard for their customers’ satisfaction or safety. If you're considering buying a car from this dealership, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. There are plenty of honest dealers out there – Gregory Hyundai is not one of them. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by steering clear of this place. Congratulations on scamming me, guys. Hope it was worth it. No wonder there were few customers complaining when I got there. I should known that before i purchased a car there. His Manager Tony was also a liar and can not keep his word. Definitely , I will not go back in this dealer again. I dont recommend this dealer. Better you go to Libertyville Hyundai or at Patrick Hyundai. They will keep the price based on their words and price quote. They also have better discount with good customer service. They are very transparent on documentation before you sign in which they will explained it to you the total price, discounts and extra fees from taxes to the packages. Where in Gregory Hyundai, no transparency and full of lies. Watch out and don't fall into their traps. Grant will say bad stuff that about Libertyville Hyundai that will charge you bunch of stuff afterward. That's not true, I experienced it the other way around.
