Bought a 2022 Elantra N on November 5th. Traded in a 2017 Honda Civic. Was told by the dealership 3 weeks after my purchase, that the vehicle can't be registered because it has to pass RI sa Traded in a 2017 Honda Civic. Was told by the dealership 3 weeks after my purchase, that the vehicle can't be registered because it has to pass RI safety inspection first. I took it to Greico Hyundai in Johnston (for convenience). Turned out that Greico Acura sold me a vehicle with an after market catalytic converter, causing it to fail a safety inspection. This was never disclosed to me while purchasing the vehicle. I have called Greico Acura for 3 weeks leaving voice messages trying to reach Brian Moore, manager. I have yet to receive a call back. In the meantime, I have made my first payment for a vehicle sitting at Greico Hyundai, still not repaired, inspected or registered. It is hard to believe that I haven't been able to speak with anyone from Greico Acura. Not sure if it's cowardice or ineptitude. In either case, it's terrible business. More
