I would rather have the choice of “MAYBE” for whether I would recommend Groove Service Center. I brought my 2018 Outback in for brakes and an oil change. I got a call telling me that there was unrepairable damage to one of my tires. I had no warning on my dashboard that one of the tires was even low! It just doesn’t sit well with me. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as well. I arrived on time for my appointment, I waited quite awhile to be greeted, their iPads were not working, my service manager wasn’t available, (I got a call later that day asking if I had left my car there- they couldn’t find it.) It all just felt wrong. I bought the car used from Groove Toyota and bought a maintenance plan and service plan and yet when I took it to the Toyota express (where I was told to take it) for an oil change there was no record of me having the service plan. I just haven’t had the energy to go in and get this straightened out. It just seems to get more complicated. I have paid for oil changes twice and I shouldn’t have had to because of the plan. No one has offered to help figure this out and frankly I’m frustrated. On the positive side, I didn’t need all four tires because the tread wear wasn’t too bad, and they were able to get the tire and I had my car back that night. I also had a very good experience in April when I needed a new battery and they got my car in and out without and appointment. (NOTE: This was just a couple of weeks before the most recent appointment and there was no tire damage then. My husband drives this car and commutes just 5 miles to work and it is parked in a safe parking lot all day. It seems unimaginable that he got such severe tire damage anywhere between home and work.)
