Having pre-paid for six oil changes when I purchased the vehicle in Montrose February 2022 [due to the chip shortage], I took it in for the third one. I asked for a car wash as one had been done after the first oil change. The car was washed and the service agent informed me a nail was found in one of the tires and with only 15,007 on the mileage recommended a new set of tires for $600 plus some service fees. It was not typed out prior and not shown to me what the final cost would be. Having a Toyota prior, the service agents always presented the bill estimate before service. A "rental", their dealer car was thrown in without cost and I was told it was on full. I found $7.50 fuel to get it full before driving to work. The engine was extraordinarily dusty so I asked for the quoted $75.00 to get it cleaned. I returned from work the next day to a final bill over $1,300!, Yes, they removed $8.00 for the car not being on full to start and I agreed to the $75 for the engine clean, but the estimate total was never shown in typed out official Subaru, only a penned scribble of some shop charges where I had expected a final bill of no more than$800. The supervisor could not give me an estimate of roughly how many miles the tires are good for so tried to find something close on line. 3-star tires seen (out of 5 total) and guessed about 40-50,000. And leaving the car outside overnight, it was dirty again. So I showed it to the supervisor who had one of the agents run it through the wash behind the building and it came back filthy. He looked at me and said, "free wash" and walked off. I had to take it to a car wash after leaving and paid $10 to get it clean again. More

The salesman was excellent (Dan C). Everything was going great until they put me in a room with a saleswoman (Mai) who initially claimed she was doing my purchase paperwork. After some confusing back and forth, her personality completely changed into a dragon-like entity. More forceful "hard sell" extended warrantee selling -- I have never witnessed. Since I was so fatigued from an early morning & very long drive, I didnt have the wherewithal to just firmly say no, and continue to say no. She was exploiting my desire to have a pleasant transaction and honestly it was unreal. She never relented for 2 hours. I have to knock the dealership for not keeping me safe from her, and for her to waste so much of my time during a day that I was expecting to be a pleasant transaction. It turned my day into a nightmare. I cant recommend anyone go there to the dealership because of her aggression. It was awful. (Plus she was joking about "making stuff up... and like a time share, the number kept dropping over the many long minutes -- a product that started at 4K ended up at 2.5k. How is that possible? A bunch of BS! More
