I went into buy the third car of my life (I’m 53) so I hadn’t been to a dealership in almost 25 years. I expected to be swarmed by satin-jacketed frat boys as soon as I pulled into the lot, but all they d hadn’t been to a dealership in almost 25 years. I expected to be swarmed by satin-jacketed frat boys as soon as I pulled into the lot, but all they did was wave at me from the door and let me take my time and walk in. They greeted me, asked if I was there for someone, and quickly connected with my salesman. It felt friendly and casual and he asked targeted questions and didn’t seem frustrated when I didn’t have all the answers he was looking for. Very genuine. I had done a substantial amount of Internet research so all I really wanted was a test drive, so we took out a loaner and I was hooked. It took no time to write up an order and then all I had to do was wait for my car to come in. It showed up a week early and my total purchase time at the dealership, including a test drive of my new vehicle, was about 2.5 hours. I went in with low expectations but the entire staff went miles above and beyond, there was none of that sleazy car salesman behavior that I expected. If I ever need another Subaru, I will definitely return to Groove. More
