Didn't think Subaru was doable, Groove Subaru made it happen I was looking for a compact sedan with the Subaru Impreza at the top of my list, but I thought it was a longshot at best with my budget. First trip ou I was looking for a compact sedan with the Subaru Impreza at the top of my list, but I thought it was a longshot at best with my budget. First trip out to Groove, Patrick Shannon showed me around and was super friendly and very knowledgeable. My next visit out I decided to test drive a vehicle and Patrick again was so professional and answered any questions I had, at the end there was completely no pressure and that visit/sales experience was phenomenal - especially compared to the other dealerships I visited. Chris Giordano helped break down the difference between leasing vs buying for me and completely changed my mind about Subaru being a possibility, he was very insightful about leasing and made that option a real avenue for me. Finally, since I had already made so many visits to other dealerships as well, I had to continue the final part of my search remotely via email and phone only. Joseph McCarty was incredibly responsive via email, he made the pricing, quoting, and vehicle selection process so easy. I was very appreciative of this part especially since I was trying to accomplish so much in such a tight window and while being at work with limited availability to be in contact with Joseph. This is the part that changed everything too, since I figured Subaru was a longshot, I thought I'd humor myself and just give Joseph my bottom line on my budget to make it happen with the Impreza I really wanted. To my surprise, Joseph made it work. The rest of the lengthy email chain with him was nothing but exceptional professionalism and service (the only reason it was so lengthy was because I had so many questions and needs). He walked me through the whole thing right down to getting back on the lot yesterday and signing for the Impreza - with more professionalism and helpful insight from Jeff Adsit when it came to the paperwork. To sum up my experience with Groove Subaru in short I'd say this: I wanted a Subaru, but I was truly not planning on or expecting to be able to get a Subaru. Patrick, Chris, Joseph, and Jeff - you gentlemen are the reason I've got a key to a 2018 Impreza in my pocket right now. Special shoutout to Alexis and Joseph for being so attentive and responsive to my needs via email and for Joseph for actually getting me through the process and into the seat of my new car. Best New Car Experience I went to two car dealerships before ending up at Groove. Both others only because of proximity to my house. The trek to Groove was well worth it! Don't even waste your time with other salespeople like I did. Every dealer and salesperson says they want to be transparent with you, but Rob actually was. When, unfortunately, my timing didn't align with his, he kindly set me up with another salesman who was working the time I was available... AND he came to see me to say hello, even on his day off! Nick is who I wound up working with and the process could not have gone more smoothly. He was attentive, explained everything to us, answered all of our questions, and patiently waited while we activated our car insurance before driving away. Now that's what I call 5-star service. We changed our minds a few times, but he never showed any exasperation at all, just reworked the numbers! He was very knowledgeable about the workings of each car, and took his time with us to make sure we understood. 2 days later, I emailed him that I had left something in my old car, and he retrieved them for me!
