Today we returned to the dealer for a “re-delivery” appointment to review the features of the vehicle and the scheduled maintenance. Both the lease experience and the re-delivery appoint,ent were completed professionally and in a reasonable amount of time. This is our 2nd lease with this dealer and the third Subaru we have driven (the first we had for 17 years with nearly all service being provided by this dealership). Dishonest about inspection and did not address when called o I found a certified preowned 2015 Subaru outback limited I thought was going to be mine. It was listed fairly, and it seemed to be in great shape. The I found a certified preowned 2015 Subaru outback limited I thought was going to be mine. It was listed fairly, and it seemed to be in great shape. The bonus too was it went through a thorough inspection. Just to be safe, I had my trusted mechanic take a look before buying (Thanks strictly automotive). They found several items that should have been addressed by the certified inspection including a bad battery, 25% brakes left when inspection said it had 50%, an oil leak that needed re sealing, and brake fluid that hadn't been changed even though they said it was. I was ready to buy at their asking price if they addressed these, but they said they wouldn't fix anything. I understand if it was marked as is or if the items were unreasonable, but they're all things that should work on a 2 yr old car especially if that's what the dealer claimed. They blamed it on their service department, and now they'll probably sell without doing any work to the next sucker who takes them at their word. My sales rep Jamison did a fine job, but sales manager was dismissive and lowered my opinion of the dealership. I do not recommend buying used cars at GROOVE and if you must make sure you have a third party mechanic truth test their deceptuve claims. What a waste of a day. More
