My wife and I needed a new car full of high safety and with 4WD, because we entered the group of elderly people, and we felt that safety is more impo My wife and I needed a new car full of high safety and with 4WD, because we entered the group of elderly people, and we felt that safety is more important than fuel efficiency. We compared Toyota Rav4, Honda CRV and Subaru Forester. We knew that the Subaru Forester with Eyesight is the top quality with the aspect of the safety. The price was competitive between the three cars. We made an appointment at Groove Subaru on Broadway in middle May. But, on the day before the appointment date, we happened to pass by near the store. So, we visited the store without a notice, because we just wanted to check the colors of the Forester they have now. We like a green color. There we met Mr. Mark Davis for the first time. He answered our several questions about the Forester and explained many features of the car. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. On that day he arranged a test drive for us. Electric adjustment of the seat and a rear view monitor were nice. We didn’t know that those functions are standard equipments. The drivability of the Forester was good and we satisfied with it. As for the payment we wanted an installment, and Mark explained it clearly. On that day we decided to purchase a 2017 Forester 2.5i Premium with Eyesight. Unfortunately there was not a green color, so we chose a blue pearl color. The next day we visited the Groove Subaru again, and learned a lot of functions of the Forester from Mark. About three weeks have passed since we bought the Forester, and we are very satisfied with many Eyesight functions. We also enrolled in the StarLink Safety and Security Plus. I tried to lock and unlock the Forester from my PC. It was successful and amazing. So far we drove about 230 miles and the fuel efficiency is 31.8 miles/gallon. This is much better than we expected. As for the AWD performance we have to wait until the next snow season. More
