The staff at Group 1 GMC were helpful and knowledgeable. However, when my wife and I were leaving the dealership after buying our car, we noticed a crack about 6 to 8 inches long on the windshield. I immediately told our salesman, and he said he’d have it repaired at no cost to us. The next week, we brought the car back for the scheduled repair, and they said they wouldn’t replace the windshield unless the crack went into our driver’s field of vision. They did say they had already sealed it and re-sealed it on this visit. They told me to bring it back if it keeps cracking. I thought that was a bit disappointing after buying a $73K car. Especially since we had already brought it to the salesman’s attention before leaving the lot, which meant it had been broken for a while. More

Disappointed with Recent Service Experience Check-in was quick, but unfortunately, the staff didn’t have the notes I had included with my appointment. There was also a lack of clarity about how long the was quick, but unfortunately, the staff didn’t have the notes I had included with my appointment. There was also a lack of clarity about how long the service would take. I was informed that the service would take a few extra hours due to a recall, but my vehicle was dropped off at 7:45 AM and not returned until 4:30 PM. I was told this delay was because only a few technicians were qualified to perform the recall review. Communication throughout the day was poor. Follow-up was minimal, responses were delayed, and the information I did receive was unclear. Upon receiving my vehicle, there was no documentation of what services had been completed or any status updates on wear-and-tear items. The delivery itself was very informal—the person who returned the car simply left it running at the console, didn’t close the vehicle, and failed to remove the protective covers from the seats and floor mats. Additionally, the car was not washed or cleaned, which I’ve come to expect from previous visits. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the level of service provided this time. I hope these issues are addressed to improve future experiences. More
