At the time I first visited Gunn Acura, my car had been totalled and I needed to find another quickly. I had been looking everywhere without much success. When I got to Gunn Acura I explained my dilema and what I wanted. They did a search of their entire Gunn inventory, based on my criteria, and came up with two great choices that fit my needs. No other dealer went to this much trouble. I was looking for a used car and did not want to have car payments if possible. I had gotten approval for a loan from USAA to cover anything over what they were giving me for my totalled car. The interest rate was kinda high, but thought that was the best I could do. When Peter Eng saw the letter and the interest rate, he went to Joe who went to work for me. He got me an interest rate that was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the USAA rate, and included enough to cover an extended warranty. I have a car payment, but it is only $250.00, and not for a long time either. They noticed a gash in the bumper that the prior owner had tried to hide. Before they let me take the car, they repaired the bumper properly and even gave me a new Acura to drive while they fixed my car. (Highly recommend that car, by the way!) Peter drove my car to the office where I worked (Floresville) after it was repaired, so that I did not have to make another trip into San Antonio or take off work. The 90 day Acura warranty was something that made me feel better about purchasing a used car. I have been back a couple times after buying my car and Peter has always been there to be of assistance! These guys are awesome!! This is where I will go from now on for any auto purchase or repair. Way to go Gunn Acura. More
I had an 'Ok' experience buying my vehicle here at Gunn Acura. First, I understood that there was no haggling with the price of the vehicle. After owning my 1994 Toyota Camry for almost 12 years and running up 298,000 miles, it was time for me to move on to a new vehicle. I just wasn't sure what kind of vehicle I wanted. I knew I didn't want a big sedan, nor too sporty of a car. One of my daughters owns an MDX suv, and an older daughter owned an Acura Legend, so I have had my eye on the Acuras for a while. Nevertheless, I research just about every model, and I especially looked over scores of owner's reviews. I found out that Acura car owners, compared to other Make owners, were by far, if not unanimously, the most satisfied customers. The TSX received rave reviews. With these findings, I decided to go look at the TSXs at the nearby Acura dealer. I test drove a TSX and nothng had to be said after that. I was sold on the car. The TSX had a smooth, quite and comfortable ride. I loved the luxurious ambiance the TSX offered with the leather seats and sun roof, and the size was perfect for me. However, my wife and I had budget constraints to work with. Then, Peter Eng came into our lives. Peter is the consumate professional. There are salespersons who don't want to engage the customer, they just want you to purchase the vehicle and be on your way. Peter is unassuming and very approachable, and is committed to his customers. Using Gunn's "Simple Price" policy, he was committed and determined to find us a TSX that would fit our budget. Peter's due diligence, professionalism, patience, knowledge of product, and wittiness, were very instrumental in ultimately my wife and I selecting the TSX that we did. I took my TSX to the Acura service department to have accessories installed, and the customer service was second to none. They were courteous and attentive, and getting the loaner car was the cherry on top. I love and am enjoying my TSX. Thanks Peter. More

I have purchased my last 6 vehicles from various Gunn dealerships over the past 12 years and have never been disappointed with the service or price that I have paid. When my 2002 TL was totaled, I did n dealerships over the past 12 years and have never been disappointed with the service or price that I have paid. When my 2002 TL was totaled, I did not hesitate to go back to Gunn Acura to look for another car. I was fortunate to work with Peter Eng and was impressed with how hard he worked to get me into the right car. It took a little while, but he was able to get me into a used TSX and I love it! I have recommended Gunn in the past and will continue to do so in the future. As another note, the TL that was wrecked had 233,000 miles on it and was still running great! The service department at Gunn Acura was the ONLY place I took my car, whether for a routine oil change or full service major maintenance. Pat Enriquez and the staff in the service department have always provided top quality work and customer service. So my compliments to both sides of Gunn Acura (sales and service) and to Peter Eng and Pat Enriquez I say thank you for your professionalism and high standards of customer service. More
We had heard about the MDX and were looking for a crossover equivalent to the Lexis 350. After deciding on the car, I worked with a knowlegable, friendly guy in financing, and left after individualized instruction and the promise of additional training. Wow! Not my first rodeo buying a car; new, used or luxury, but the best experience ever by far. From the moment I strolled onto the lot after I parked my Equinox, I was made to feel like Ernest had al luxury, but the best experience ever by far. From the moment I strolled onto the lot after I parked my Equinox, I was made to feel like Ernest had all the time in world to devote to me and what I was looking for, never a moment feeling any pressure or hearing a "sales pitch", their philosophy is transparent, genuine and they really are a team. I rolled out of there 1 & 1/2 hours later in my baby! I named her Lola and told Ernest that.. because what Lola wants, Lola will get from Gunn Acura. Well, when I returned a week later to get accessories installed and gave my name in the Service Depatment, I was greeted by SEVERAL people with "Oh, you're Lola's owner. We've been expecting you!" I CRACKED UP. Anybody goofy enough to name their car is going to appreciate THIS level of personalized service, naturally... her special license plates are being made as we speak and I'm looking forward to many, many years of bringing her back to their wonderful service department. Oh, and the loaner I had while she was getting beautified? SUWHEET! A local dealership (Volvo) had my volvo for TEN DAYS once in the past and acted like I was "outta my mind" when I requested a loaner...sheesh. Had to get UGLY w/them to get one. I am an Acura girl. This purchase is my third Acura. Even though I entered the dealership letting them know they automatically had my business, I was never treated in a way that indicated they felt they didn though I entered the dealership letting them know they automatically had my business, I was never treated in a way that indicated they felt they didn't need to compete for my business. Due to my schedule and a variety of other things the entire process took over 6 months. While they stayed in touch with me I never felt they were pressuring or rushing me. When I showed up or made inquiries they were ready to help. When I put the process on the back burner they understood that and backed off. I never ever felt they were bothering me or being annoying. I was always greeted promptly and in a very friendly manner. When I asked Mr. Eng certain questions when we were actually looking at cars he always encouraged me to try it myself; as an RN I believe this is one of the most effective ways for people to learn-by doing. My overall experience was wonderful. The day I picked up my car was so exciting. My cay was pulled up near the building in the shade and had a look of being on display. It was terrific. More

The introductory remarks by the salesman Peter Eng set the tone and atmosphere for the entire experience. Peter said that his employment with Gunn was based, primarily, on two considerations: first, he was selling a car that he never needed to apologize for (i.e. that the product sold itself); and second, he enjoyed the caliber of clientele that were normally interested in the cars that he sold. Peter's professionalism, thorough knowledge of Acura products, and personal charm played a major role in our decision to buy the car. More
I went in on a Saturday 20 min before closing, with my 9 year old and pregnant wife in tow. Since I am going to have another kid I was eager to get rid of my two-door coupe Volvo C30 and buy something more year old and pregnant wife in tow. Paul Bracken, our sales consultant, greeted us and was very friendly but not the cheesy kind you find elsewhere. He was a true gentlemen and genuinely interested in us making the right choice. We were interested in a TSX Wagon but I did not consider that car since I thought it would be underpowered by its engine. However, he offered us a secret route through the Hill Country with lots of turns, uphills, lots of possibilities to test the cars agility. We were convinced and started doing the paperwork. They offered me a very fair price on my C30, which is not exactly a very common car. They would not budge on the price for the TSX, I tried but the price was more than fair and very close to invoice. By ten it was one hour beyond their closing, but Paul, the appraiser and the finance person stayed to finalize the deal. I signed the papers, they helped to unload my old car and put everything into the new one and kept us hydrated with water and soft drinks. We were done in a total of 2 hours, including test drive, paperwork, finance (took only 15 min) and unload/load of personal belongings. I can recommend Paul Bracken as an outstanding consultant that made our purchasing experience a very positive one. More
