On April 13th 2026 I purchased a jeep Rubicon 4XE and it was sold to as a certified accident free vehicle as stated buy the sales person the ad and the documents handed to me. A few days later I was noticing a light bump when ever I turned the steering wheel, later on the day I discovered that the car sold to me had in fact been in a previous accident as noted on the pictures. At the point of sale I was given a Carfax that stated no accident or damage so I didn't inspect the car that much. I went back to Gunn Automotive and was met with friendly assistance from both the service manager and the general sales manager who said they would fix things. As I did research I found that the jeep being a hybrid with that front impact can have further future issues and also I was sold a vehicle that stated no prior accident and priced at $32,540. Having been in a prior accident reduces that price so I went in today in all fairness to try solve my concern and requested what I believe to be fair given the circumstance of the misrepresentation of the vehicle being accident free, I requested a free extended warranty at least for 3 years and 10% of the cost of the vehicle back based on depreciation of loss of value due to the impact it took. What I assume was the general sales manager refused and only accepted to have the front struts replaced from what I can assume were damaged due to the impact the vehicle sustained. Now I find myself In what's going to be a bad experience and a legal issue involving the Texas deceptive practice act. I will say they do have great people working at the dealer but me having to absorb the depreciation value and possible future repairs is not only unfair but unethical. My review is based on fairness and research. I would really want to solve this matter to avoid any legal action action. More
Everyone was great to deal with especially Ronald. He was very attentive to our wants/ needs. Service time was reasonable but beware the 3% surcharge if you want to pay by credit card. The surcharge is technically illegal according to Texas law. Called another dealership in town and confirmed they do not charge the additional fee for credit card payments. Will be going to them for service from now on. They took great care of my truck, fixed it in a timely manner and worked with my insurance company and got it all worked out. Kristen Brown had the service work performed in a timely manner. She along with the service technician had me in and out quickly.
