Mr. Hennigan, Thank you for responding to my comments. The 2008 Honda Pilot I was promised was unique. It not only had factory navigation but also had an after market dual control dual screen 2nd row DVD system. Since one could order either DVD or Nav in 2008 but not both the presence of both systems plus 32,000 miles made this vehicle desirable. I have been looking for a 2008 Honda Pilot equipped this way for some time. As for my experience during my dealing with Gunn Honda, everything was going really great until the night before my wife and I were to leave for San Antonio. I believed that everyone knew the vehicle was spoken for and not for sale any longer. I do not know what went wrong but I assume a sales person other than Brian Hart saw the chance to make a sale or perhaps the used vehicle manager decided to override Brians's word to me and authorized the sale to another customer. No matter how it went down it was unethical. I would ask your used vehicle manager how the switch occurred. Beleive me, he/she knows. As for a remdedy, I would suggest you decide what would be satisfactory if this treatment happened to you. Would you report this situation to higher authority within the Honda network? Would you want the dealer to find a similar or lower mileage 2008 Honda Pilot EX-L and offer it to the aggrieved party at dealer cost? To what length would a dealer have to go for you be satisified you were truly being treated right? Please answer what you would want. I have located a $28k 2009 Touring at Honda West in Las Vegas but am holding off buying it as I am curious how you would redeem your dealership if given the chance.

Mr. Hennigan, My wife and I would accept the following offer: 2011 Honda Pilot EX-L, Moca exterior with Beige interior, Stock Number #H111272 on the following terms. Selling price = $31,000, payments for 60 months at 0.9% interest (AHFC) with around $6,100 down for a monthly payment of approximately $425.00. Please let me know if this is acceptable to Gunn Honda. Mr. Sedgwick I thank you for the response. I apologize for the delay but I just returned from a vacation. I also apologize for the communication problems. We have had a policy for years for not holding vehicles unless it is just for the amount of time it takes to get to Gunn Honda. If we failed to communicate this completely, then I again apologize. I would love to have the opportunity to earn your business, but I would not be able to sell that car for that price. The One Simple Price on that vehicle is $33,488.00. We have operated as a One Price store since 1995, which means that we put our best price on the vehicle without the need for negotiating. Again, my apologies for any communication issues and if I can be of further assistance please let me know.
