Ed, thank you for your review. We apologize for any misunderstandings or inconvenience but we will clear this up! Your first payment was paid at inception and the payment on December 10th will be your second. We apologize if that wasn't made clear, but you paid the first month at inception, from that day forward you only have 35 payments remaining. Regarding the insurance, we verify that you currently have coverage, however we cannot make changes to your policy for you.This can only be done by you, as the insurance company will not allow us to make changes to your policy, for obvious reasons. We apologize if this was not explained clearly. Finally, in regards to the bill you received from KMF, I cannot explain this. We sent you an email with a copy of the lease termination form that shows what we agreed to pay and another copy of the check we sent to KMF. We absolutely agreed to pay the remaining two payments on your previous car and we did. If KMF is charging you anything else, you would have to call and discuss that with them. They can be reached at (866) 331-5632. Keep in mind that we paid what we agreed to and that any additional charges or payments are between you and KMF, not Gunther. We sincerely appreciate your business and I hope this explanation helps resolve your issues. If so, we would appreciate an update to your review. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Tania, I am surprised and saddened to hear that you had a horrible experience. I thought, as you mentioned, we provided a very smooth experience. Unfortunately, some of the comments below aren't entirely accurate, so I feel the need to clarify what happened from my perspective. Your husband was quoted a price for a 2019 Sportage in Steel Gray, and not only was it the best price he was able to find in the area, but I honored that price beyond the deadline that I had given. When you both arrived at the dealership, you chose a different color (Pearl White). That unit was both more expensive but also sold and not available to purchase. Your husband asked me for proof that the vehicle was in fact sold, which I was able to provide him immediately to his satisfaction. From there, you had a choice to take the Steel Gray for exactly the price that was quoted or choose another color that was available. You then chose to upgrade to the Black Cherry, which also comes with the same upcharge from the manufacturer as the Pearl White. The fact of the matter is you can't choose a more expensive vehicle and expect to pay the same price as a less expensive vehicle. I don't think it's fair to say we are "despicable" for charging more money for a vehicle that costs more money. To say we are "despicable" for simply running a business like a business is incredible to me, especially when you failed to mention that you paid pennies on the dollar for the upgraded color, not the full $400 that it actually costs. In no other industry does a consumer simply demand something more expensive for less and become upset when it doesn't happen that way. You can't just walk into your local Publix, go to the register with a loaf of $2 bread, offer the cashier $1 instead and expect to leave with that loaf of bread. I hope you can see this from my perspective and realize that your comments, after all of the hard work and effort put in to try and provide a positive experience, are highly discouraging. I appreciate your business and certainly don't take that for granted, please simply understand that at the end of the day we are just a family owned local business trying to make an honest living.
