Edward, after receiving your review, we have reached out to our service center who was able to shed some light on the situation you are experiencing. Due to the location in which you live, the damage to your wife's brakes was caused by the salt water in the air. We offered to replace the brakes as a one-time goodwill jester but we can't keep extending this courtesy to you. Remember, Mazda USA also granted you "Good Will Money" in order to help assist you with the repairs. We are disappointed to receive your review as it does not accurately represent the experience you received with Gunther Mazda and Mazda USA. Understand that our service department has been more than generous in offering you help but as long as there is that much amount of salt water in the air, you will continue to experience this issue. Thank you for your time.

First I live 4 plus miles from the ocean. When i purchased these cars no one ever mentioned that i might have rear brake problems due to living in south Florida. The problem is of madza poor quality. Why is it that the front brakes are fine and only the outer rear pads wearing out at 6k miles. After doing research I have found that this been a known issue with Madza . In 2015 Madza issued service bulletin to cover rear brakes under the 3yr 36. The front brakes are parked in the same place as the rears. Yes, Madza on there own did cover some of the cost, but they did it for customer loyalty and I did thank them for it. Gunthet Motors did nothing for me, I even sent an email to Mr Gunther to speak to him about this but I never got any kind of reply. Obviously, the service manager does care about retaining customers. I figured your cost to repair the 2 cars would have been about $225. So now when theses leases are up in 18 momths there is no way I am buying from Gunther Motors. Maybe he should think about in the future.
