For starters they could have special ordered the vehicle we agreed they would order. Instead, the vehicle that supposedly arrived for us only had some of the options we had requested and a multitude of opt we agreed they would order. For the dealership to then insist that that was the vehicle that was built by the factory for us was truly an insult! This is the third vehicle we have special ordered. Both previous vehicles were from different dealerships and makers. Both required us to sign off on a build sheet and required a deposit. Neither of which the dealership requested. It is truly our belief that our vehicle was never ordered. The vehicle presented us was one that was already arriving at their dealership and their upper management decided to use that vehicle instead of ordering one for us. A typical bait and switch! We decided to purchase the vehicle instead having to wait another 4mnths and risk getting another Bait and Switch vehicle from the dealership. To add insult to injury we confirmed with both their finance department and with our Salesman Oliver Andrew that our interest rate would be 0.9%. Instead, when we sat in the Finance office to sign the papers, to our surprise the interest rate was 3.9%. The Financial assistant stated: Our vehicle never was eligible the 0.9% and where did we get that information? It couldn't have come from anyone at Gunther Mazda, UNBELIVABLE!!!! Needless to say, this was the worst experience we have ever had purchasing a vehicle! On our way home we noticed the WIFI charger was not working. switched phones and it still didn't work..... Never will we buy or recommend a vehicle from Gunther Motors. As we are asked by all our friends about our new vehicle. We give them a full report on our experience with Gunther Motors. *UPDATE* We received a message from Gunther Mazda that went like this: “Hello my name is Laurie Strok I'm calling from Gunther Mazda I am the customer service representative here in the dealership and I'm reading your review for your recent purchase and I just wanted to have a conversation with you about it and listen to your experience in person if you'd like to call me to discuss this matter you can reach me on my cell phone at 786-241-2991. WARNING: Mazda has no authority over it's dealers. Nothing covered under warranty because it's a terrible car and so are the dealers. DON'T BUY ONE! They have less automotive market share for a reason. This year was the most insane, a $2000 fix, someone noticed a bolt head broke off for the steering component on the bottom. "Wheel could have come off at any moment" killing me at highway speeds. The dealer says "rust" only so they don't have to cover it under warranty just like every other issue I've had. Well, how about the bolt broke off then rusted since there is no rust coating under the bolt head? I heard an odd noise for a long time. Of course the Mazda dealer won't side with you, because Mazda itself has no authority over their own horrible warranties and you are nothing to them after you buy it. The guy had all sorts to say just so evidently and obviously to screw me over, insulting me rather than just telling the truth. He actually said "it happened when you drove it down to Florida" wow! Really? I didn't know your cars weren't supposed to driven? What about the rust story? Or, "you can go complain to the dealer you bought it at." Who I called states away, and said it "would have been covered!" Imagine buying an iPhone in Wisconsin and the Florida store tells you go back to Wisconsin to have the warranty covered. Egregious treatment. Ok, Mazda's side? A fatally important bolt rusts within 3 years on a warranty new, visibly well taken care of, 100% garaged car. Sounds like an excellent car! Mazda's were known for their rust issues. They can make up whatever fairytale, but at the end of the day not covering something this insane shows they have NO confidence in what they sell. After driving a Mazda for years, I noticed how much smoother my rental rode while they fixed this (which Useless Mazda Customer Experience wouldn't even reimburse fully, and practically needed my mother's social security number to offer anything FYI). No banging on road perfections. It's no wonder my Mazda breaks all the time. More

I had the pleasure of working with Oliver Andrew when selecting my new leased car. He was professional, personable, and knowledgeable. This is my second visit with Gunther Mazda, and last time was a great experience. But this time I was working with a new (inexperienced?) service advisor. He recommended doing a maintenance on the throttl was a great experience. But this time I was working with a new (inexperienced?) service advisor. He recommended doing a maintenance on the throttle body, without even verifying if the engine is showing signs of carbon buildup on a 2021 vehicle that only had 15,000 miles and it wasn't showing any signs of issues. Mazda recommends this to be done every 75 to 90,000 miles! Yes, I agreed to have it done but that was conditional on it needing to be done. The service advisor didn't keep me updated on the progress of the vehicle, I had to ask him the status a number of times. There wasn't any video verification or any sort of communication to me that the work actually needed to be done. Obviously I'm not a happy camper for being sold something in my vehicle doesn't need. Gunther Mazda, if you actually read these... please have your customer retention manager or General Manager reach out. More

Worst experience I have ever had buying a car. I was pressured to buy a vehicle from Mazda. I got a car I did not like. I went back to see if I could trade the car for another model. The sales guy Leighton rolled his eyes at me and blew his breath. His manager Mike came out and said I have an attitude because I would not smile at him. 1st Mike says, oh I will call the owner of the dealership and see what I can do, then he comes back to me with figures written down on a paper. Mike told me I would have to make a down payment if I wanted another model. I told Mike they never asked me for a down payment, so I was not sure why he would ask me for a down payment. Mike became upset. Raised his voice at me and began to walk away. So I raised my voice as well, I told Mike, I was sitting here speaking with you and being nice. Now you are raising your voice at me. Mike says oh, I will see if we paid off you car, if we did there is nothing we can do. The car was not paid off. He lied and said it was. Mike huffed and puffed at me continued to raise his voice and said oh there is nothing I can do for you. Mile is a liar. Leighton is a liar. They begged and pressured me to get a car I do not want. I just wanted my car back and the transaction reversed. My mom has sent the dealership alot of leads. And Mike had the nerve to raise his voice and speak down to me. I will never buy another car from this dealership. Stay away from this place that are scammers who want people to give huge down payments. If you don’t they treat you like crap. And they love to be rude and yell at women. More

Once again I am a satisfied Gunther Mazda service customer after visiting their center this week. Anna was very accommodating by getting me in early the next morning. Anthony listened to any concerns and offered me a better service price than my emailed coupons. I appreciate the live inspection video they send. He is always professional, knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond as my service representative. More
