Better service the 2nd time around After the initial repair done in August 2018, I had to go back to Gunther last week for what looks like the SAME issue I'm having with the car, albei After the initial repair done in August 2018, I had to go back to Gunther last week for what looks like the SAME issue I'm having with the car, albeit the $1270 charge I have paid. Rob, the service advisor was at least honest about the 3way possibilities after the initial diagnostics done. He was prompt and laid down the anticipated bottom line as far as what it would cost for the 3 routes the repair would lead to, and at least recommended the least possible damage to my pocket which was around $350. Still watching where and when the next time I'll be on another crossroads with this car WHICH should NOT have been hurriedly disposed to me in the first place. I stupidly took the word of the salesman when he said 'Of course we guarantee that all our cars go thru the rigorous checks for a 'previously owned VW"! IF not for Rob, I wouldn't even take it back to Gunther! More
