The salesmen are very seasoned and friendly. I took a vehicle that my wife and I had seen the previous weekend for a test drive--I loved it. The salesmen were very excited to find out that my credit was spotless, so when I went back to the dealership, they had placed the owner's manual and key fobs ready to go as if I were to going to buy that night. I told them that I had to wait until I talked to my wife. The next day, I stopped by and made an offer, which was declined. I told Mitch that he could call me later if he wanted to reconsidered. It wasn't until the following day (Saturday) at 9am that the dealership called back. I was almost ready to leave the house--on my way to other dealerships. We stopped later that afternoon. They had forgotten to add the additional $700 for the customized tint job, so they dropped the price an additional $600 (technically $1300 if you include the tint), so in the end, we felt it was fair. After we agreed on the price, the financing went very smoothly. As I mentioned previously, my credit is spotless (above 800) so I was able to qualify for an even better rate than they promised--originally 2.5%, it went down to 2.3% More
We needed to find a good used truck or SUV for my husband, and all 3 of the people worked very hard in getting that done. But, when I got there, they were able to let me know that the payment would be much lower than they originally told us. We are extremely satisfied with our experience. If we decide that we need to purchase another vehicle, we will definately go back to Gurnee Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep. More

Overall my purchase was fine. Mike was very nice and nice to my kids also. The first time we came in he took the time to show my daughter how a lot of the things on the van we were looking at worked, he even to my kids also. My only problem with the buying process is the same thing you seem to find at most dealers. I do not like the fact that a price for a vehicle has to me approved by a manager. Sale people should already know what they can and can not sell a vehicle for and save the time of running back and forth to get a deal ok'd. Overall though my experience was good. They did have to order me a trim piece for the van and i have not heard form them yet and it has been a little over two weeks. I hope this is not a situation were i have to call them instead of them calling me when the part comes in. If that is the case then my review on service would drop. More
****BUYER BEWARE*****I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime and Gurnee dodge is the worst dealership I have ever been in. Their sales tactics and people are what give car sales people a bad name. They told me that one of the sales people I was working with was the sales manager and he turned out to be just a regular sales associate. They didn't return calls or follow up. They gave me one price over the phone and when I got in changed the price. It wasn't until I threatened to walk out that they gave me the price we agreed on. I refused to do business with them and left. When I called the actual sales manager to complain he talked in circles and refused to take ownership or try to make it right. The sales people I worked with were Justin Milem, Mike Fagan, and Mitch Horwitz. Stay away from this dealership and these sales people. More
Went in to have a truck worked on and they told us it would be a quick fix. We were told the truck was in prefect running condition and we paid for it and were told to pick it up the next day. That "quick fix" turned into $1737.37 and getting back a vehicle that was in worse condition than when we had brought it in. The truck wouldn't drive and wouldn't stay running. I complained to several people and was told it was due to our after-market parts. Which it's not because those parts have been on our truck for years and this problem started a month ago. I was also told the technicians had to "GUESS" at the problem and when they couldn't fix it, they told us to take the truck and they didn't want to deal with it anymore. After calling to get my money back, we were told it was our fault the truck didn't drive and they wouldn't refund us or fix the REAL problem free of cost. I now have an open case with Chrysler Corporation and they are paying for the repairs to be done at a different dealership. (This dealership was able to locate the exact problem within a matter of hours and we're on our way to getting our truck back after a month of it being out of service.) I would not recommend this dealership at all for anything. I am a loyal Chrysler customer (I've owned several Jeeps and my fiance has owned several Dodges) and now I am rethinking my loyalty!!! More
My son bought a Jeep through the dealership. On the window sticker it said a hard top and soft top came with it. When we got in the car the soft top was not there. We were told it was in the warehouse and that he would get it. We signed the papers and we were then notified that they could not find the top. We were promised that he would be getting us next week. That was in May of 2011, now it is April 2012. We call no less then 9 times and got no where. He stopped returning my calls so I called the store manager. The manager made it sound like Todd was "sweetening" the deal by throughing it in. NO we paid to the top that we never got. I wish I had reviewed the dealership before we bought there. This was my son's first car that he bought and the experience was horrible. So now along with paying for college he has to buy a soft top for a car that he alread bought but never got. Really bad when you need to cheet a kid!! More
