Just about begged them to sell me a car I picked out the car I wanted online and called the dealership. I provided the vin for my trade and made arrangements to drive the car over lunch. I I picked out the car I wanted online and called the dealership. I provided the vin for my trade and made arrangements to drive the car over lunch. I expressed I wanted the car and would be back after work to sign for it. After work I arrived and after two hours of waiting had not gotten close to getting the car. My salesman would find me every 20 minutes or so and ask me to sign this or request a insurance card and then disappear. The finance guy said he needed me to lift my credit freeze on more than one bureau or he couldn't get financing and then disappeared. NO ONE bothered to ask me if I needed help getting these things and no one came to check on me. Near the third hour I had had enough and asked for my keys back and took my old car home. Then Ivan the Sales Manager stepped in, gave me a better deal on the car, smoothed over the problems and helped my with financing options. He really turned my experience around. The end result is what counts and the dealership really did try to make things right. I think that makes all the difference. So I ended up buying the car I wanted and can say that the experience ended up being ok and I feel much better about things. And in the end, isn't that what we want. More

Frank Mercardante was an excellent salesman throughout the process. He did everything he could to accommodate myself and my wife who was recently in a car accident to get us the Explorer we wanted after the pictures on the website did not match the vehicle they had in stock. He went as far as trading a dealer just to get the vehicle with all of the features we wanted. In addition going through financing was by far the quickest I have ever experienced in my multiple times going through the car buying process. I was in and out of financing in 20 minutes and the whole process took less than 4 hours. It would have been even shorter if they had the vehicle in stock. Overall a great experience at Gwinnett Place Ford. More
