I took my 2007 (under warrantee) suv in, because when hooked to a trailer, the running lites would not work but all others did. I tested the trailer in advance on another vehicle and advised them to call hooked to a trailer, the running lites would not work but all others did. I tested the trailer in advance on another vehicle and advised them to call (of course, they did not)if it was anything other than a warranted problem. When I called to check on the vehicle, I was advised the bill would be $105.00 for the simple changing of a fuse. They agreed the warrantee was still in affect but stated fuses and the technicians services were not. Why the fuse box was not checked first, I have no idea. I Never had this problem before. I Had a 2003 model of the same vehicle also with electrical problems that had fuses replaced three times all of which were no charge! The dealer did make some concessions on the bill, however, I still feel I was taken advantage of and would not trust them to do service again. More
All the people I spoke with at Gwinnet Place were very friendly. Dave and his mechanic helped identify and locate some hard to find parts for my older Ford Ranger. His follow up call was greatly appreci friendly. Dave and his mechanic helped identify and locate some hard to find parts for my older Ford Ranger. His follow up call was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this dealer! More
I took my car in for service and they wrecked my car and did not notify me. After 8 days, I went to check on my car and found it at the bodyshop getting the bumper replaced and painted. They never contacted did not notify me. After 8 days, I went to check on my car and found it at the bodyshop getting the bumper replaced and painted. They never contacted me to tell me the car was damage. Instead the service manager told me the part I took my car in for was lost in Memphis, Tennessee. The new bumper they tried to sneak and put on has dents and there are bubbles in the paint. The rear sensors also did not work. I took my car to another body shop and they informed me that the a portion of the absorber behind the bumper cover was actually missing and the reinforcement was damaged. The dealership hid this also. The dealership has yet to tell me what actually happened to my car. They suspect it was a hit and run but they have cameras outside the building and should know what happened. Casey has rufused to give me the name of the insurance carrier. Still disputing this. I recorded many conversations so the public could hear how they mistreated me. If anyone is interested in hearing, contact me. I have also turned over the recordings to all of the local tv news stations. I am also planning on filing suit against them. Consumers...beware!!! I am sure they would not have told me anything had I not caught them in the act!!!!! More
The price was N/A because we bought on the Ford "A" Plan. My experience with them might have been affected by that. Our salesman was nice, was not terribly pushy, and seemed interested in just "A" Plan. My experience with them might have been affected by that. Our salesman was nice, was not terribly pushy, and seemed interested in just helping us buy a car. They took a while to get the paperwork completed, but they let me take a Roush F150 to supper while they got it done. That smoothed me out considerably (and almost sold me a truck). They took longer than they should have to pay off our trade and we ended up owing money on it. One call to the dealership got us a check for the full amount. That was a bit of customer service that impressed me a great deal. Although I did witness a couple of obnoxious salespeople (Nick is great, though) I found them pleasant overall and I would - and have - recommend the dealership to others. More
This dealership is full of crooks to say the least. While I am sure there are some good apples there, all of my experiences there have been high pressure and highly unpleasant. A couple of years ago While I am sure there are some good apples there, all of my experiences there have been high pressure and highly unpleasant. A couple of years ago I went there to look at some manual transmission cars. I worked with Gene and we drove an '03 Cobra. During the test drive he was very condesending, didn't want me to drive faster than 30 MPH and even smoked in the car. When we got back he showed me a 350Z that was AUTOMATIC (I wanted a manual). He insisted that I drive it so I did. When we got back from that test drive, he tried his hardest to sell it to me, eventhough it wasn't what I wanted. He made me wait at his desk for 15 minutes and then came back. I told him I didn't want the car, but he would not take no for an answer. He even asked me at what price I would buy the car at, I told him two thousand just to see what he would say. His response was "See so the only thing keeping you from this car is the price". What a jerk. I finally got out of the dealership and I ignored all his calls to me. Other times I went there I was flat out lied to, the salesmen used tactics like "Today is the last day of the special we have on this car" Yeah right. My friend bought a Ford Lightning for $8000 over sticker because they told him it was a "Limited production" and that the color blue was only one of 2 in the SE. A week later he goes back and sees an identical one for $10000 less than what he paid. This dealership employs liars and pushy salemen; not reccomended at all. don't even go in for a test drive unless you have 2 hours to waste telling them you are just looking. More
